Costco Wholesale — Local services in Prosper

Today, I went to this new Costco wholesale place to buy a 2.5 lb bag of coffee beans and a bag of raw brown sugar Turbinado. and looked for a coffee bean grinder. I’ve asked the Costco worker what happened to the coffee bean grinder. I was informed that Costco management decided to do away with this perk since it’s usually damaged due to some customers not operating it properly and costs $$$$ to Costco for repairs. That’s sad but zi don’t blame Costco for putting a stop to this due to some irresponsible customers affecting those responsible customers. Anyway, since Costco removed this coffee bean grinder, Costco needs to stop selling coffee bean beans too . I ended up returning the coffee bean bag at the register and bought the ready to brew Kirkland coffee. Or, Costco can assign someone in their crew to assist and keep an eye for customers grinding their coffee beans if ever they decide even decide to bring back this coffee bean grinder machine for customer use. Just like assigning a worker to check receipts when they checkout leaving Costco. ...

I have been shopping with Costco for many years. They are all pretty similar and usually have similar customer service standards. I have lived in 4 different states and spend an average over 10k a year with costco. I have never been to a Costco that was operated worse than this one from the top down. Frisco is very busy but efficient and good employees who move with a sense of urgency and purpose. The employees are not of the dame caliber and because of the similar hiring process it stands to reason the training and expectations are not the same. There are a couple that are veteran checkers and they are so disgusted with the work ethic around this place. Management yells to the line to go to self-checkout but that process is broken at Costco as a whole. Ill be making the drive over to Frisco as its just not worth the headache and frustration of...
