We have been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime. We were seated almost immediately, and then forgotten. The restaurant was not overly busy. We asked several servers if they were our server, and they said ânoâ. one gal finally stopped and said she would get our waiter. He arrived and apologized stating all of his tables had been seated at the same time. understandable! We ordered, received our coffee and waited and waited and waited. Finally, we got our food. My husband had ordered an omelette and pancakes and it looked good. I ordered a plain Belgian waffle and a side of bacon. The waffle was ice cold couldnât even spread the butter and the bacon looked good . I asked if they could heat up the waffle as it was very cold and the waitress, it was not our server, took the waffle back to be heated up. We never saw anything again, four or five times someone walked by and asked if we had received our waffle and we told them ânoâ. Our server was just absent. I finally asked if I could get a refill on my coffee, the gal, not our waiter, filled my coffee cup. She also went back to check on my waffle and said that they remade it, but nobody knew whose it was so it got cold again. She asked them to make it a third time. I asked the hostess if I could speak to a manager and she said she would get him she went into an office, came out, but no manager ever appeared. after about 15 more minutes, and no waffle, the waitress, not our server, brought us a pale whitish, uncooked waffle that was gooey in the middle. The waitress saw the batter, run out of the middle of the waffle, and offered to return it again. I told her not to worry about it. My husband had completed his breakfast sometime earlier. No manager had appeared two people stopped by to ask us if the manager had come to talk to us, and we said ânoâ. We never again saw our waiter. They did take the waffle and the bacon off the bill, we paid for my husbandâs meal and left. One more time, the hostess asked if we spoke with the manager, and we replied, he never stopped by. Then I went to my daughters house, where she toasted me up two Eggos, and I ate them. My husband said his meal was pretty good so we may eventually give this another try but extremely disappointed with food and with management. At this point, I...

From the time that we walked in at 11 am, they told us the wait would be 45-60 min. We gave them our name, and asked if they could call us when the table was ready because we are going to be waiting in our car. They said they do not have a call system, and we would have to be back inside by 45 min because they just called out names and when tables are ready. We waited about 20 min in the car, and decided to wait the last minute 25 min inside, the hostess said they had already called our name. We got the next table available. They should have a callback system, or one of those vibrating sensors to let you know when your table is ready. Then after we got seated, we had 4 waiters and waitresses walk passed us while while we sat there with menu waiting for anyone to acknowledge us. We had to finally flag down a waitress who told us that she will let our waiter know we were still waiting for our order to be taken. Our waiter took our order 5 min later, and he didnât introduce himself, tell us any specials like that they have mimosas, etc. He just took out order, and tried to maneuver through a small texting apparatus that he could not read/see because itâs too small. I donât know why they wouldnât use IPads, or even go back to pen and paper because that wouldâve saved some time. Another server (5 min later) brought us food and laid it on our table, but it wasnât ours. So he took it back from our table and brought the same food 2 tables down. Our waiter did come to us 10 min later asking us âif the food and everything was ok?â We told him we still have not gotten the food. 20 min later at 1 pm, our waiter comes to us and tells us our food is coming out soon. We finally got our food 10 min later, and of course the order was served incomplete. The food was not completely cooked. Apparently, our waiter Christian, was picking and choosing who he wanted to serve. A beautiful waitress, Lexus, was able to help us out! We spoke to Kevin, the manager, about Christian, who apologized, and said he would comp our next meal. This was the longest 2 1/2...
Read moreFood Allergy Caution and Service Concerns: My recent experience with Order #11487 on May 5th 2025 raises significant concerns-especially for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. Despite clearly requesting NO CHEESE on the Avocado Bacon Burger due to lactose intolerance under the Special Request section when ordering, the order arrived with cheese. This oversight is not a minor mistake; for those with allergies or intolerances, such errors can have serious health consequences. It suggests a lack of attention to special requests. When I approached the staff to have the order corrected, the response from the waitress in charge (middle-aged, glasses, blonde streaks in a ponytail, identified as Jessica after initial reluctance) was dismissive and unprofessional. Refusing to give her name at first and responding with a poor attitude, even after a tip had already been given, demonstrates a concerning lack of customer service standards. This kind of interaction leaves patrons feeling unwelcome and undervalued. After the burger was remade, the replacement was still unsatisfactory: the chipotle mayonnaise was missing, and the toasted buns were burnt. These repeated mistakes indicate a lack of quality control and attention to detail in the kitchen. Given this experience, I cannot recommend Cracked & Crepe-especially for anyone with food allergies or who values attentive service. There are several superior alternatives in the immediate area: First Watch, Consistently praised for friendly staff, prompt service, and willingness to quickly correct mistakes, Birdie's Breakfast Club, known for attentive, upbeat service with staff who are proactive and accommodating and my favorite go to only a little further away from where I live, Eggsellent Cafe, with their friendly, helpful staff who remember customer preferences and ensure special requests are honored. In conclusion, for those with dietary needs or who expect a basic level of hospitality, there are far better options just minutes away. After this incident, I will not be returning, and I urge others, especially those with food allergies, to exercise caution or choose one of the many nearby...
