The restaurant is currently in its soft launch phase, and we decided to try a few Indo Chinese dishes including street style noodles, veg manchurian, and corn chatpata (crispy corn). They didn’t have steamed momos, so we ordered paneer and chicken tandoor momos instead.
The momos were good, and the veg manchurian was decent, but the noodles and corn were really disappointing. We told the server that the corn didn’t taste right, and they brought it back three times with the same issue each time. The noodles had uneven masala and tasted terrible, yet we were still charged for them. The server even said she wouldn’t charge us for the corn, but it was still on the bill, and when we pointed it out, she just stood there silently without saying anything.
The service was also quite slow. They didn’t bring plates until we asked multiple times, and by the time they finally did, the food had already turned cold. We didn’t want to make a scene, so we just ate it that way.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place for Indo Chinese food. It seems to focus more on authentic South Indian cuisine, which might be a better choice...

We tried the Manchow soup, which had a perfect balance of spice and warmth to kick off the meal. The chilli garlic paneer momos were a highlight soft inside, perfectly crisp outside, and full of garlicky goodness. The corn chatpata was tangy, crunchy, and super addictive.
The drums of heaven were flavorful, tender, and perfectly cooked. The dhaba-style chicken paired with tandoor rotis had that rich, earthy taste and homely touch that truly stood out among the dishes
For mains, the double egg burnt garlic chicken fried rice, double egg chicken street-style noodles, and chicken dynamite biryani were bursting with flavor -a perfect combo of spice, aroma, and texture that rounded off the meal beautifully.
To finish it off, the soda gulp (mango flavor) was a refreshing and fun drink that wrapped up the meal perfectly.

Read moreI recently visited The Monks Indian Fusion and it was an excellent experience from start to finish!
We tried the Donne Chicken Biryani, Veg Keema Biryani, Corn Chat Pata, Chicken Momos, Street Style Chicken Noodles, and finished with the Apricot Delight — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The biryanis were aromatic and had just the right amount of spice, the momos were juicy and well-seasoned, and the noodles had that perfect street-style touch. The Corn Chat Pata was a great appetizer — tangy, crunchy, and refreshing.
The food tasted freshly made, portions were generous, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The restaurant had a nice, clean ambiance that made the meal even more enjoyable.
The Apricot Delight was such a perfect ending that I’d love to see a few more dessert options on the menu — maybe something chocolatey or fruity to match the fusion theme.
Overall, Monks Aubrey is a must-visit for anyone who loves flavorful Indian fusion dishes. Highly recommend — I’ll...
