Went in today and wasn’t impressed. Came in on their off hours with no other customers or cars in drive thru. An employee said hello as she was cleaning water off the floor. I was sitting in front of the register for at least 2 minutes without the employee acknowledging they’d assist me shortly or asking for help from another employee. The other employee came and I asked for the pick 2 they advertised on a sign they placed outside the business. She rang me up and then her coworker and her were whispering to each other on their headsets while 3 feet away from each other (one of the employees specifically said to the other they couldn’t hear her while they were whispering which is how I came to the conclusion). The cashier then informed me that the pick 2 was only on Tuesday. I did misread the sign, but when I asked about it further they said that they place the sign out everyday.
TLDR: -Employees didn’t acknowledge when they would assist the only customer in the store -Unprofessionally whispering while taking customers order -There signage may be misleading and cause annoyance for other customers- again I misread, but maybe there’s a better way to advertise that includes the same signage inside your store.
Note to the owner, a lot of people don’t want to do the extra work of submitting to “contact us”, but would like to understand how you’re working to resolve issues. Wish you...
Read moreTropical Smoothie Cafe is our new go to place and we have spent hundreds of dollars at this specific location alone, as we cater their food to board meetings. The first catering was a tax exempt order that turned into a debacle. We were first told to call 2 days in advance. I did and they said call the day of the order. Then I called the day of the order at 11AM for the 530 PM pick up and they acted like 10 wraps was an impossible task. They didn't know how to process it as tax exempt either, so we had to pay taxes. I emailed the owner, Brian, and nothing, so we just wrote it off as it was not important to the owner to get back to us. By the way, Brian, if you still own this business, your employees were talking smack about you when we ordered that day. That's how I knew to address you by name in the email.... On two other occasions we have personally dined here and received a cold shoulder from employees, and today will be the last. Of the 3 employees there at 1130, no one said hello, thanks for coming or anything..not a word...zombies....not only to us but the drive through, too. What a horrible vibe. We watched one guy waiting on his order just walk out. The food and model for this chain is by far one of the best I've ever seen but we will NOT be back to this location and I hope corporate is watching...
Read moreThis chain has the best unauthenticated quesadillas because the salsa dip is the best ever ... and addictive. However, minus 2 stars because this specific location has repeatedly served me cold food. Even the breakfast wraps are atrociously cold, like they don't care.
September 2025 update* I'm a sucker for Biscoff cookie shakes, so when I saw that an apple pie Biscoff cookie shake was added to the menu, I succumbed to my vice for a fall drink. The shake is pictured with Biscoff cookie crumbs on top. I was given a shake with no Biscoff cookie in it at all whatsoever. I did get an individually wrapped Biscoff cookie on the side, but that's not the point. I could have spent that $8 to buy a pack of Lotus Biscoff cookies at the Walgreens across the street, rather than on this tall apple sauce with cinnamon slushy scam. Three strikes - I'm done with...
