Oh my goodness, if you're looking for a taste of pure Southern comfort, look no further than this absolutely lovely institution! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere that just feels like home. But let's talk about the stars of the show: their incredible Southern comfort food. The chicken fried steak here is truly something special – perfectly crispy on the outside and tender as can be on the inside. And don't even get me started on their hamburger steak! It's rich, flavorful, and just melts in your mouth. But the real hidden gem? The fried okra! It's crispy, seasoned just right, and the perfect accompaniment to either of those fantastic main dishes. Trust me on this one. And then, just when you think things couldn't get any better, you absolutely must indulge in their Mississippi mud cake. It's decadent, chocolatey, and utterly divine – the kind of dessert that makes you close your eyes and savor every single bite. This isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's a place where you can truly taste the heart and soul of Southern cooking. If you're in Little Rock and craving some genuine comfort food, do yourself a favor and pay this wonderful institution a visit. You won't be disappointed!

Cotham’s is a local legend with good reason. After the original restaurant outside the city burned down several years ago, Cotham’s in the City became the home restaurant. It’s where locals know to go for the humongous hubcap burger that was a favorite of Bill Clinton. Other local specialties like fried catfish are a big draw as well. There are daily specials including down-home items like fried chicken. The food is generally good if a bit heavy on the fried and carb side, as so much of Arkansas restaurant food now is. I find the servers generally very courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is interesting because Cotham’s is about a block from the state capitol, so you will quite often see movers and shakers of state government eating there. The clientele is a nice cross-section of Little Rock in terms of race and social class.

Even when the shared parking lot was packed one of the workers was directing traffic and even let me and a few others park in the no parking spots in the back for we could all fit. That's good service starting from the parking lot and it continuing nicely to the inside aswell. Prices are fair for portion sizes and entrees are delicous. Friday's fried pork chop special is amazing especially since they are not just small boneless cutlets but two full size shops! Sweet tea is on point too with good taste and large glass sizes. Only real complaint was all the side dishes we had were just kinda bland not including the roll and jalapeno cornbread which is delicious.

I really like cotham's. My favorite is the catfish sandwich. The cheeseburger is really good. Usually the fries has this awesome seasoning.

Usually the staff is awesome and super friendly. But last time my hubby and I went there the hostess didn't say anything to us. We told two. She grabbed silverware and started to walk to a table. We just followed.

The waitress was nice. I didn't have to ask for refills or anything like that. There are to go drinks if you want.

I like the decor. It's full of political posters.

It can be kinda expensive. My catfish sandwich with fries is 10 bucks. I don't remember the price of the cheeseburger. But it definitely is a great place for...
