I had a traumatic experience here! I went to Drew as a new customer and had long layered shoulder length hair. I told him I wanted to keep the style but take about an inch off the length. When he finished my hair, it was only about 3" in the crown ....where did the other six inches go!?! He tried to style it but couldn't make it work so I asked him try again using something different as a way of styling techniques. At that time I didn't realize how badly my hair was cut, in that the layers, IMHO, did not blend, not to mention it WAS NOT the cut I had asked for. He said he had to go to his child's soccer game and turned me over to someone else!!! They couldn't make it work either and then another stylist stepped in and offered to try also with no success. I was fighting back tears at this point. It was then I began to see and realize that my hair appeared to be cut in un-blended lengths and hunks and the sides were cut much shorter than the back and not one length as before......sort of looked like Billy Ray Cyrus used to!!! Still fighting back tears and biting lip to keep from crying. I DID NOT ask for this. I was there for nearly 3 hours and I felt sick. The proof of the pudding was when the cashier said "I'm not going to charge you for the cut"! Enough said! I would not have given a star at all except for the sweet gals that tried to help me out there. I ended up going to another salon where a talented stylist had to shorten my hair a little more in order to blend my hair into a workable style. Two days later I left on a cruise with no way to wear a ponytail or an up-do as I used to after swimming etc. and no knowledge of how to style this layered up look. I hope this...
