Cotham’s is a local legend with good reason. After the original restaurant outside the city burned down several years ago, Cotham’s in the City became the home restaurant. It’s where locals know to go for the humongous hubcap burger that was a favorite of Bill Clinton. Other local specialties like fried catfish are a big draw as well. There are daily specials including down-home items like fried chicken. The food is generally good if a bit heavy on the fried and carb side, as so much of Arkansas restaurant food now is. I find the servers generally very courteous and friendly. The atmosphere is interesting because Cotham’s is about a block from the state capitol, so you will quite often see movers and shakers of state government eating there. I really like cotham's. My favorite is the catfish sandwich. The cheeseburger is really good. Usually the fries has this awesome seasoning.

Usually the staff is awesome and super friendly. But last time my hubby and I went there the hostess didn't say anything to us. We told two. She grabbed silverware and started to walk to a table. We just followed.

The waitress was nice. I didn't have to ask for refills or anything like that. There are to go drinks if you want.
