We recently ate there about 7 days ago and I felt uncomfortable that night but now I know why: the truly disgusting and scary video of the kitchen that went viral on You Tube and Facebook (over 350,000 on Facebook) that I have watched several times has totally disgusted me permanently. The outside professional cleaning crew that had recorded the video during their most recent cleaning assignment. ------They had cleaned the same kitchen at the Asian Garden kitchen three months ago. This seems to coincide with some potential quarterly inspection by the NH health agency. So the kitchen was so disgusting and truly UNHEALTHY that the professional cleaning crew decided that they would record what they saw and in the video they emphasized that it was as disgusting and unhealthy three months ago. -------------They not only decided to record what they saw but because of how terrible the health situation was, but decided to NOT CLEAN IT AGAIN so that the restaurant would just CLEAN AWAY what was a real health hazard (so they didn't get paid) and release it publically. THE REAL SCARRY THING IS THE HAZARDS DEPICTED IN THE VIDEO were obviously not built up over night, they felt it was truly built up over months. The video evidence was so overwhelming shocking and obviously built up over several months. So the scary part is you are playing Russian roulette with your life. Truly the hazardous germs and other growths of bacteria and worse were created over a long period of time and according to these professional cleaners were exactly the same. So I would never, ever eat there again & would urge any family or individual who would even think about eating there to run not walk home...DO NOT TRUST THIS MANAGEMENT AND OWNER....The owner says everything seen was MINOR and that it is all okay...well what that means to me and obviously this professional cleaning crew is that it happens over many months and they are a menace of the worse kind. Do NOT EAT THERE...go home and make your own or check closely another restaurant FOOD INSPECTION RECORDS CLOSELY & report any scary things.Ask to see the kitchen. It is legal for you to ask and see the kitchen according to the state law. DO NOT EAT...
Read moreTheir meat was meaty with color and crunch. I ate lots of food. Primarily meat. Barf. Eat more meat. Why isn't there more meat? I'll go back there because I forgot my keys. Maybe there'll be some meat on them. I've never met a meat there that I didn't want to meet. I hope when their new meat menu comes out that it's actually made of meat. So I can sample and try the meats before I buy them and then of course also enjoy the free finger licking meat. I was there on Thursday to meet up with my ex wife for some meat, because I know she loves all kinds of people's meats, and we went HAM. Not literally because they don't have ham :( but we Had All Meat. They said it couldn't be done but we did it. One glance and lick of that meat menu and it was on. I've never had so much fun with one of my ex wives. It was easy because we just ate meat and didn't bother with the chatter. The owner came out at the end and congratulated us on our fantastic meat feat. He asked us if in the future he added some sort of feet meat to the meat menu if we'd like to be featured meat samplers (which got me thinking a "meat sampler" would make a great menu option for people who can't eat meat like my ex and I) and I told him, "Don't even ask! Bring me the feet meat." I have to go now because my cardiologist is calling me but get down there and try their salad rolls!
JK LOL....
Read moreI'm so glad I stumbled upon Asian Gourmet in Littleton, NH! This Chinese-American restaurant exceeded my expectations in many ways.
We were treated to: Complimentary tea, a lovely touch that set the tone for a welcoming dining experience Huge portion sizes Lunch specials available all week, a great value for the price
We've tried a variety of dishes, including: Hot and Sour Soup (a standout!) Boneless Spare Ribs Egg rolls Chicken fingers Hunan Pork Chicken and broccoli Wui Wor Pork (another highlight!)
The Wui Wor Pork and Hot and Sour Soup were clear winners, but everything we ordered was good. The service was friendly, the parking was easy, and the seating was plentiful.
Overall, Asian Gourmet offers a great combination of good food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. What more could you ask for?...
