I'll start off by saying, taking my time to write a review on a restaurant is not at the top of my free time activity, but this experience I had in the 99 Restaurant on Meadow Street in Littleton, NH was so embarrassing to me and the job I took so much pride in for over ten years, I had to say my peace. I planned on spending my first anniversary here, but after the service I received tonight by Heather, I'm deciding to redirect my food interest to something a little more friendly and accommodating than the 99 restaurant and their service like Heathers. I'll start here:
Table side manner was non-existent. She never made eye contact, cracked a smile or acknowledged our request with anything short of a snide look as though we were an inconvenience to her and this restaurant.
Our dirty dishes were left on the table (empty glasses, appetizer plates and popcorn corn bowls), which normally I wouldn't mind, but being a table of 6, we need all the space we can get.
She forgot my friends soup and rolled her eyes when she asked if she could have it
She didn't check on our appetizer until we all were waiting for our entrees to come out, our wait after finishing our appetizer was roughly 15 minutes.
As I served and managed a up-scale fine dining restaurant in Dallas, TX, I know the wait time between courses and she did not have the timing down what-so-ever.
Our food came out with burning hot plates and luke warm food (a.k.a. It sat under the heat lamp too long while our waitress did something else?)
Lastly, my husband found a hair in his entree, hiding beneath the salad he got with salmon and when he informed our server of this, she said "uh, okay", took the plate and didn't do or say anything else about it. No apology, no accommodations for future visits, no change to our bill this evening, no consult from a manager, NO ACTION AT ALL.
I know this industry from the inside out, Heather's attitude and skill were not what the 99 Restaurant should be expecting for the face of their restaurant and I am completely disappointed with the service I received this evening. Like I stated before, I planned on returning to the 99 this weekend to celebrate my anniversary, but because of my experience I received tonight, I won't be returning for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWaitress and manager was a total joke! Went there with my step daughter (whoās is disabled) tonight and they asked me to leave, we tried ordering drinks and the waitress said let me check as it was the first time comming to the table and giving popcorn, 5mins after a manager came to the table and said the waitress didnāt feel comfortable serving us or being our waitress. What was uncomfortable for her? My gf exercising her second amendment right she was carrying on her hip or that she had a disabled daughter? Very disgusting never in my life have ever been treated at any restaurant like that totally disgusting thought that 99ās were held at a higher value . Manager didnāt know what to say, made it out to be a serving of alcohol problem? I said well wouldnāt that be a police problem then call the police he said itās not a police problem said that the waitress didnāt feel comfortable waiting on us, I said oh why because I got a disabled daughter and the manager just stood there with his mouth open, I left and just got Dominoās right next-door. lol! 100% unprofessional and disgusting. Definitely going to be calling corporate and the regional manager that is ridiculous not serving somebody because thereās a disabled person there with you and having all the help sit to her and laugh at you when is sitting at pointing fingers very unprofessional with the manager and the staff there definitely will not be going back there and calling corporate very unprofessional! Waited there for 15 minutes just to be turned away because somebody was disabled and they had people say they were uncomfortable and that we came in late they closed at 10:30 we were there at 9 oāclock. I didnāt know everything was about feelings sorry Iām a paying customer just like everybody else whether somebodyās on crutches or or in a wheelchair whatās the difference you donāt judge ppl. Very disgusting! I cant believe how we were treated by both the waitress and manager. Both donāt know the roll and I might as well call the ADA & BBB. The ppl were just disrespectful...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo Iāve been to the 99 plenty of times, but this last interaction was mind numbing to say the least. I normally NEVER come online to post a review- only if the service was exceptional⦠but this was not the case- Our server was mediocre at best- she came over to the table of myself, my 2 yr old, and my in laws- barely spat out her name- an older woman who clearly by her attitude has been there too long. Basically the whole time she was at the table was one long, painfully awkward experience. She acted as if we were putting her out by ordering- really lady?! Then, the cherry on top was the Host- listen Iāve worked in the service industry for years okay and if a table flags you down for something idc if you are king tutāyou stop and ask what you can do for that customer- even if itās not your table or if you are the former manager or the host!! well instead the man walked right up to me and then averted his gaze almost as if he didnāt see me and walked right on by - as Iām mid sentence mind you- so like my in laws saw the whole thing as well and it was almost comical because Iām looking at this man he is looking right at me, walking up to me and then keeps on going. HOW RUDE. And I donāt want to hear he didnāt see me- he saw me. And I had my hand up in the aisle as heās about 10 ft away walking right towards me. Anyways- point being from start to finish- everything was great EXCEPT the service. If you donāt want to be in the service industry anymore- thatās fine, go home and leave it to the hard working, honest, and FRIENDLY ONES. Will return but only for a bar seat-...
