Had lunch here on Sat. ( 03/30/2024 ) and it was pretty good! Went with the onion rings to start and they were good. Only suggest they make the onion cut a bit thicker as only a few had more onion than breading. That said, the batter is good! Could be cooked a little less but overall they have great onion rings! The Cherry Cricket sauce was good but a little to sweet for my taste. I was charged 75 cents for it, seems like it should not be an upcharge. I'd suggest ranch with them but ask if it's extra. Did the Locust Cider and it was a great 10oz pour. Not sweet like a lot of ciders and complimented the food. I went with the 1/2 pound cricket burger (11) which was nice and big! After adding all the toppings it was a 16.25 burger. (Aioli, Jalapenos, pepper jack, green chili.) Again, just saying that things like aioli and sauces should probably not be an upcharge. ( With that stuff it reminds me of airlines, everything seems to have a little extra charge. ) Also, the one slice of tomato was weird. 2 should be the regular on a 1/2 burger. When you get messy toppings, a dinner plate would be better as the small basket was difficult to work with after the green chili and egg yoke. I felt like I hade to be super careful to not cutting through the paper when splitting the burger. At least a plate size basket would help. I used the small plate the napkins came on to work through it. It came as ordered aside from an over easy egg on top? Funny I thought but no problem as they didn't charge me for it. The burger was cooked great to medium rare! Toasted bun was good but again, 2 bucks more for a pretzel bun that I didn't get seems excessive. I had thought they over salted the meat but after tasting the green chili that I had put on the burger, that was what was overly salty. I suggest you taste the green chili before putting it on the burger. I had the other half of the burger without the Chili and it was great. Overall the service was great, atmosphere and food really good. I think if they take sauces off the upcharge, and get the onion rings a bit more chunky it would be a home run. I'm just a lowly patron so please check them out. The parking lots get full for a reason! Great place!
After note: I got ice water and it smelled/tasted a little off. Could be that I'm in Broomfield and this is Littleton. May be the tap water is just a little different down there. Please check it out and if that's the case, cool! Otherwise I could only say that the bar lines and soda guns may need to be flushed / cleaned.
I hope this review was helpful. Just giving my experience and if it helps make it better, that's...
Read moreJust wanted to say sorry to have been such an inconvenience to your closing bartender Sunday evening. She made it very clear when we sat down, around 7 pm, that we had ruined her day by coming in to eat dinner. Not a hello, not a smile, but we got water, drinks would take some time, though. My beer was wrong, apparently a mislabeled keg. A friendlier, chatty fella apologized, we talked about hops, and the crisis was avoided. Wife's Tito's & tonic wasn't tasting right, but we dared not tell Ms. Crabby about it. Luckily, about the time the wrong beer discussion got started, a different bartender offered to remake it for her. Just a heads up, Tonic out of the gun is a great way to make drinks inconsistent and increase liquor waste. We've both worked in the service industry before, and we know the grind. A double shift is rarely a fun time. But we're both growing tired of the obviously burned out bartender continuing to serve and the restaurants that employ them. Our guess is that Ms. Crabby is like this fairly regularly, and everyone from co-workers and managers to the customers is supposed to just deal with her poor attitude. Ironically, when we asked how her day was, in an effort to sympathize and let her vent, she said her double shift was nothing compared to having been a restaurant owner herself. Really? I wonder why you're not an owner anymore? With her attitude, I can't even imagine trying to work for a person who is so oblivious to their own demeanor. When you can't even muster a hello or welcoming smile to customers, you have no business in the service industry, in a point of sale position. Anyway, sorry we stopped in for dinner. We'll be down at Breckenridge Farmhouse if...

I would avoid eating here after 8pm. What a difference in the quality of service, food and atmosphere with the staff.
I was so excited to bring my family here for a birthday dinner after experiencing the "day staff" wonderful experience. Night and day, literal difference! Avoid the night staff!!!
My experience along with everyone in the restaurant that evening (11/10/24) was AWFUL!!
From the minute we walked in, the staff was rude, almost annoyed that we were there, 8pm (they close at midnight). Our server Nicole was distracted the entire time by the bartender and other staff. Our food came out cold, chips were stale, drinks unfilled. Not even a thank you when we paid and left. Terrible experience for the birthday boy and family, everyone wanted to walk out. The manager had heavy metal blaring through the speakers, couldn't hear anything. It was like being at a dive bar that nobody goes to (would explain the dead atmosphere that is usually busy). Our waitress was out of it! There were maybe 5 tables and 2 guests at the bar, staff. Needless to say, I was so embarrassed to have brought my friends and family here to celebrate anything.
The next day, I tried to call and speak with their manager, Rough, of whom never returned my call. I was hoping to let her know of our experience. Deb of whom said she would call back, never did. I spent 20 years in the service industry in every role including restaurant manager; she should have called and at minimum listened to how her staff ruined a birthday dinner, $150.00 tab , and probably every other customers experience that night. That dinner set the tone for a ruined birthday.
In the end, day time, AWESOME, night...
