Louis' Diner — Restaurant in Littleton

Updated April , 2024: Loui's Diner has now become a "staple" for my Dad and I. We have lunch there every Wednesday. Dad usually has either the corn beef hash, which he loves, or a cheese omelette. I usually have bacon and eggs, with sourdough toast. We know we can rely on their wonderful service, and the food is always good. It's your neighborhood diner, but it's a good one. Don't expect top of the line interior, but you can count on good food and service. Maybe I will see you there on a Wednesday.

Why haven't we been to Louis' Diner before now? I honestly don't know.

Louis' Diner is a neighborhood staple in the Littleton area. Having now been here twice in the last week, I can see why.

Louis' Diner is small inside, with approximately 9-10 tables, 6 booths, and 2 booths that can seat approximately 5-6 people. If you have a large party, I would think the restaurant could push the tables together to seat about 10, or more, people.

The ceiling is low white tile, and the palate colors inside are browns, tans, and oranges. The table are close together, with very little space between them. There is carpet on the floor, which helps muffle the noise, but I'm sure it's hard to keep clean, as you would have to constantly vacuum the carpet. There is a tv in the corner as well.

When you walk in, the hostess/cashier stand is at the kitchen counter area, which you cannot sit at. This is not directly inside the door, as there are tables directly by the door. There will probably be a wait for you, as the restaurant is popular, and there is no waiting area.

The parking lot is a private lot, shared by all of the stores/merchants in the shopping center strip mall.

Louis' Diner opens daily, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. They serve breakfast and lunch items. These include: breakfast burritos, omelettes, biscuits and gravy, meat and eggs, chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, pancakes, waffles, french toast, all types of skillets, soups, chilis, salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, melts, Mexican entrees, pork chops, and a Kids' menu. There is so much more as well.

I have enjoyed their meat and eggs breakfast several times now, and have not been disappointed. The eggs are cooked to order, the potatoes are good, and the coffee is hot. It's easy to get a refill on your coffee too, which is important to me. I like my coffee. Family members have had the omelettes, and the pancakes. Nothing has disappointed any of us.

Service is good, quick, and friendly. There is music playing in the background as well. It can get noisy, but that's ok. As I stated above, there is very little room between tables, so baby strollers will have to remain outside, or in your car.

Louis' Diner is a good place to enjoy food, and conversation....

After driving by for years I finally dropped in. As a longtime resident I always remember this location as a drive up liquor store. But like allot of littleton the old is giving way to the new. Yes it’s an older building. I felt it was as clean as any other diner I frequent having reached middle age I have been in ALLOT of them across the country. I had the Mexican skillet and it was very well done. I’m pretty picky about green chili being a local and my wife reins from New Mexico. This green is above average and fresh tasting. The eggs we’re cooked perfectly. Everything was really good! I can’t wait to try a few of their other Mexican dishes. Louis’ Diner is a staple in my community. If you live in Littleton Colorado, chances are you’ve been to Louis’. If you don’t live in Littleton, chances are you’ve been to Louis’. But if you haven’t, and you’re looking for a great breakfast, hole in the wall, Louis is for you. Not only do they have a wonderful daily special, but they also have a great lunch menu.
