The guy in the food truck/trailer wasn't lying when he said the tacos are big! I ordered the Trail Taco (Chorizo/beans/other stuff) and the "El Norteno" Taco (chopped brisket, beans, a big hunk of avocado and cheese) and the Breakfast Brisket Taco, as I wanted to try a few different tacos. Once I received the food I realized this would be 2-3 meals for me.
The Breakfast Brisket Taco was a lot bigger than the others - a generous, thick slice of smoked Brisket on a bed of scrambled egg and cheese. It must have been at least 1 to 1.5 lbs of taco. I also decided to try their Habanero salsa - fresh and delicious! Not too spicy, but with a nice kick and peppery flavor. It went well on everything. The brisket was juicy and not a lean cut, so do watch out for a possible chunk of fat. Lots of flavor, though.
Size isn't the only value, though - its good quality, hearty food. It'll satisfy you and keep you going for a long time.

Read moreI dream and daydream about the brisket here, and every time I take that first bite, the words “oh my god” come right out. Every single menu item here is worth trying, including the specials, but when it’s been a while I always go back to the tried and true: a Norteño and a migas. Now, the portions are such that one taco is enough, but I can’t ever pick just one and even part of a cold one makes a great snack later on.
You can’t go wrong with any of the salsas, and it’s totally worth it to pick up a jar to take home.
To top it off, Rick and Ryan are two of the nicest guys you could hope to meet—they offer the same hospitality for first-timers and regulars alike, and have often said “here, try this” and offered a sample. They have been beyond generous in the time I’ve been going there (since the beginning), and it’s always such a treat to...
Read moreThis is the place y'all! Stop reading this, get in your car and go get their food now. We've struggled to find tacos and bbq that truly reminds us of Texas and I'm beyond thrilled to say our search is over.
Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and ended up eating our hearts out. Rick and the crew really have brought the flavors and hospitality of Austin & San Antonio to Littleton and it shows in their interactions and food. Barbacoa...amazing, Carne Guisada...speechless (I'm still dreaming about these flavors OMG), the special pork confit sandwich...wow, brisket....yum. Oh and for those who know, they have Big Red!
We'll be making this a regular stop and seriously go check these guys out - you will leave with a full stomach and a smile...and who knows you may find us sitting under the tree enjoying some...
