*updated: restaurant sent reply right after I posted review, within 5 minutes. If you can respond to a review within 5 minutes why can't you make the food and give a better estimate of timing so you don't have so many people waiting and annoyed for their food isn't ready when you say it is?!? And at least apologize for making EVERYONE wait?!? Don't thank me for giving you money and tip if you won't apologize for making EVERYONE wait.
Dry chicken. Drunken noodle barely had any veggies and was mostly noodles. Flavor and spice was good and probably the best part of all 3 dishes we bought. Over packaged in too much plastic. Stop using and wasting excessive plastic. Small rice portions also in plastic rather than the typical paper box. Rice is cheap...
Got to the ghost kitchen front just before the time you gave me for the food to be ready, but waited another 20 minutes for it. I don't enjoy sitting in a depressing ghost kitchen front with a bunch of other people also waiting for your food to be done. The 'chef ready' employee said that you are never on time and that everyone is always waiting for your food. That person appeared to be annoyed and sick of explaining to everyone that you need to change the times you say things are ready. The other people were complaining because most were door dash workers and they have even more right to be upset than me, who is not. I was just hungry and waited there for no reason while you made the food. Do better with your timing.
I wouldn't have tipped if I knew I had to sit there and wait 20 min after you said it would be ready. Enjoy the tip for nothing....

Read moreKhan Toke is a takeout Thai restaurant located in south Denver. When I went it was not a typical brick and mortar restaurant, rather they work out of a test kitchen it seems. Order the food online and pick up from a counter, no tables or chairs to use. There are other restaurants working out of this building that you could order from online too.
Regarding the food, I thought it was overall good. The tom kha had good flavor and is the perfect dish for a chilly day. There was a good amount of protein and the portion size fair. I was less a fan of the basil fried rice, perhaps just personal preference. Also had an okay portion size and good amount of protein but I thought the flavor profile was a bit lacking.
All in all paid about $25 for two dishes.
I would return here to get the tom kha and try...
