Our experience in worship on the Sunday we visited for the first time was particularly positive. We were greeted and welcomed in a warm and friendly manner, and helped to find our way around. We met several friendly and gracious regular attendees who made us feel glad to be there. The music was good, the preaching was spot on, and the atmosphere was worshipful, welcoming, and extremely affirming. It is an open and affirming church. They will always state this publicly as their ethos. Communion each Sunday. They preach every scripture from a loving place rather than what most of us grew up with "judgment." Mostly white people that probably consider themselves to be liberal or moderate. They will have their "blindspots" but their sincerity allows for a fairly comfortable experience.
