The food is really good—I have no complaints about that. I had been looking for a place with great bread and Colombian antojitos for a long time, and this place definitely delivers.
However, the service today was a bit disappointing. We arrived around 2 PM and were told they weren’t serving breakfast anymore, which was fine. A server took our order( someone call him the manager), but be he forgot mine at first—maybe he didn’t hear me? I had to go to the front to ask someone about it. Okay, no big deal.
Later, we ordered a few more things, and they came out in to-go boxes. A lady explained that between 2 and 4 PM, all orders are packaged to-go. The issue is that we were already seated at a table, and we expected to eat there. The server never explained that detail to us.
Honestly, if he had just told us up front, we would’ve understood—or maybe even decided not to order more.
Anyway, I know they can do better. The first time we came, I was really happy with both the food and the service. I understand that sometimes things get busy and people can be distracted. I’m not a difficult customer, but I still left unhappy with the...
Read moreI could cry tears of joy right now. This is the first restaurant I’ve found that has gluten free empanadas and let me tell you, they are delicious!! I ordered one of each including an empanada with guava. Such a treat! But the chicken and cheese empanadas were my favorite here. I grew up eating empanadas all the time and they are one of my favorite comfort foods, but last year I was diagnosed with a few autoimmune conditions and can no longer eat gluten. So imagine my delight when I stumbled across this place accidentally 💕 I want to thank the owners and chef with all of my heart for making a gluten friendly menu for us folks who love delicious cultural foods but have food intolerances. I also ordered the calentao and a matcha and left feeling super full and satisfied. There’s also a lovely outdoor patio full of flowers and the...
Read moreHonestly I was so exited to try this place out and it looked so good but when I entered and sat down with my family they came over and said we couldn't have our dog here and we tried to tell them he was a service dog and they proceeded to argue with us and tell us they now but we have to leave hims outside. I cannot do that. He is a medical alert and I can not do that. No matter how many times we tried to explain they would not listen. I honestly was really hungry and just wanted to eat so I just went and sat outside. Its just so disappointing and I never want to come back here again, so beware people with disabilities this world is still not very understanding. The food was pretty good but i recommend the bread the dishes are alright but the bread is...
