ordered 2turkey gyros for $6 plus a medium vanilla shake to cool down on a warm humid spring San Antonio Texas day. Went through the drive through and it had several vehicles in the queue but the pace was moving quickly. I stated with that shake on my way home and it was wonderful. Really hit the spot and wasn't too thick to start. I like thick because it lasts longer but was happy I could get a sip off it from the time I got it. At some places it's a struggle to find a softer spot to be able to get anything out of it even if you've made your eyes plug trying to extract some cool shake. When the shake is softer have to be careful not too drink it too fast. You want to take a few drinks a minute and not continuously or it will produce an immediate brain freeze. (to help with that press your thumb to the roof of your mouth until it subsides) The drinking a few sips a minute you can manage to have it about drank by the way home and stay cool in the heat. The speed, quality and customer service was all great for this visit. My only downer to report was the onions had a strong smell & were kinda overpowering for my taste & also gave me heartburn from the start. I like the 2 for$6. Value and a great portion that they include. I be back again when I'm going home from I-35 to 1604. The location is easy in and out to with both Whataburger & a Denny's in same general area if you have a varying...
Read moreHaven't been so mad with a place. Huge sign on door, 3/4 the size of full glass door, indicating dining room is open. Half dozen customers tried within ten minutes to discover doors locked. Staff inside look, but then turn away. Food may be as good as expected for an Arby's, but leaves a bitter taste. I wasn't even going to stay and eat at an inside table. My party just finds it easier to take turns placing our order choices at a counter. If don't want to have inside dining, take down the sign!!! Likely will try again, but not soon. Still too mad.
Update 6/4/2022: As requested, I shared details with Arby's Guest Support via their online form. i.e. visited Live Oak, TX location, 4/23/2022 5:48pm etc. Recieved a letter in the mail last night from Arby's Guest Support apologizing for my experience and "have shared your feedback with the restaurant's leadership team to ensure they have taken the necessary steps to rectify the situation" Note: Letter dated May 16, 2022, postage stamped 5/31/2022 and received 6/3/2022. I feel that "Arby's corporate" took the experience to heart. Someday, but not in the near future, I will find out if the location...
Read moreHmm, first review for this new location huh? Lotta responsibility here... I hadn't anticipated the gravity of my fourthcoming declaration... My wife is questioning how I could possibly write a review if I don't know if you guys are even open yet. And she's right. I don't know if you guys are open yet. But I have to try. I've just found myself here, entrusted with this civic duty; The confluence of mankind's harnessing of Earth's resources and ages of societal revolution. Coalescing into this moment where one of the millions of unheard voices can hearken out above all the chaos and say Enough. We want what we deserve. A harmony between the conglomerate and the people. Delicious beef sandwiches are but the precipice of our impending flight Arby's. We'll start at 5 stars and see...
