Cinco TacoBar — Restaurant in Livermore

I was extremely impressed by this place. It's kind of like Chipotle but with more authentic Mexican flavor and ingredients. You go through the line to custom build tacos, burritos or bowls. It has all kinds of interesting toppings to choose from, like mango pico de gallo, Mexican cheese, and pickled onions. The carne asada and shrimp were delicious and they served chips and salsa along with the meal. They also had some refreshing infused waters and a complete bar.

The place is clean, modern looking and has some beautiful artwork painted on the walls that reminds me of dia los muertos murals. The kitchen/counter is bright and evenly lit, while the dining area is surrounded by the decor and has slightly moodier lighting. The staff was responsive and friendly. We came here years ago when they just opened and THANK GOD found it again!!! What a welcome return to California❤️❤️❤️❤️ The chef is wonderful , workers happy and friendly….. food is direct from heaven to my very happy stomach. SERIOUSLY TASTY. I had brisket burrito, and chose my toppings….light rice, black beans, cilantro, cojito, red onion, salsa picante, radish, lime….. unfortunately we live in Florida and food like this does NOT exist there. My husband had tacos, pollo and carnitas. He just kept saying wow…wow…this alone worth the trip. Negra Modelo and Especial on draft! Loved it so much bought three containers of meat to go!!! We had beef and pork burritos with pinto beans.

These were absolutely delicious. Great flavors, a variety of toppings, fresh flavors, ... , overall a great experience. Some of the best burritos we have had in a long time! Definitely will be back.

They also serve mixed drinks which is a great option. Drinks were well made with a reasonable pour.

This was our first time and the service was very helpful and polite. Staff used fresh gloves when serving. Definitely appreciate food safety steps.

Restrooms were clean and wash sink had hot water so I had a higher level of confidence that people are washing hands regularly.

Due to inflation (thanks JB), food costs are higher than they should be, but these prices are reasonable...
