This location lost a customer today.
Customer service and communication is not a priority here. I frequent this location sometimes, and every time I have purchased a sandwich from the menu and have added vegetables (at the end of the line) as usual.
I ordered their new honey chicken sandwich and when it came to the veggie selection, I ask to add other toppings not listed on the menu.
The middle-aged lady goes on to ignore me.
So I politely ask for the veggie toppings again.
âYou canât add moreâ, she said. âYou chose this sandwich and this is what it comes with. Canât you read?â
I was surprised.
I asked why. She said that itâs what the sign says. But I then mention that Iâve been here the last week and ordered their same sandwich and she made it.
She said it is new policy.
I ask where is the sign that says that. She then just points to the menu item, which doesnât specifically say anything aside from what that sandwich has as ingredients.
She noticed I wasnât going to pay for the sandwich so she decided to add the additional veggies I wanted.
Iâm not sure if this is new Subway or specific franchise policy, but if it is/was, there is no customer awareness of this change or enforcement.
Again, I have been here several times and even ordered the same sandwich by the same lady the week prior.
This was a disappointing interaction and quite embarrassing since there was a customer after me. Itâll definitely be my last time coming here since this lady wasnât...

Walking into the restaurant the first thing she says to us, using attitude âwe are not accepting any couponsâ !! Seriously đ Why!? I donât know, but being a woman of color I took it very offensive as if we were going to have enough money to pay for our food!?

I clearly typed upper case letters on the instruction box asking to get mayo and avocado(which costed me extra, of course) on the bread before the meat and veggies but the lady did the opposite and did not add the avocado.
