Taqueria Consuelo — Restaurant in Livermore

Breakfast burritos are unmatched for the vicinity. Otherwise, maybe Chick-fil-A breakfast burritos as second best option off the N Livermore exit from 580.

What online and the menu does not show for Taqueria Consuelo’s breakfast burrito is that they have all the meat options, not just ham or chorizo. I’ve had the carne asada (steak) burrito two times now, and it’s a choice move. I’ve also tried the ham and chorizo and felt they were good, just not as good as the carne asada in the breakfast burrito. But I am also biased against ham and chorizo, even though I’m also open to trying ham and chorizo just in case a food item from a restaurant changes my mind :)

Eat the whole burrito only if you want to have a mid-morning nap. Otherwise, that is two meals for one slim/average-sized person.

Atmosphere: no other customer has been there when I’ve been there, so I consider it a secret breakfast burrito place/hole-in-the-wall. No one dining in either. Ain’t got time for that. But I got time for breakfast burritos and making these gd reviews. Plenty of parking first thing in...

I ordered one of their enchilada plates to go for about $14 total. The food was drowned in sauce and sour cream and still didn't taste like much. They must have had a shortage of vegetables because I only got a few strands of lettuce and one single slice of tomato. Overall the food took about 15 minutes to be ready and was a slop that I forced myself to eat. They also did not include any cutlery although they packed a dozen napkins. Go figure! I will no longer eat...

I've been to Consuelito a bunch of times now. They're my number two taco shop here in Livermore right behind Tequila's on North Vasco. This spot has some really flavorful meats, and a pretty good sized menu. Problem I've run into is a kind of long wait time sometimes, and they're out of things a lot.
