As a truck driver, I’ve eaten at plenty of places across the country, but Carl’s Jr. stands out as my favorite. The food is always fresh—burgers come hot off the grill, the veggies are crisp, and everything tastes like it was made with care. The restaurant itself is spotless, from the dining area to the restrooms, which is something I really appreciate when I’m on the road.

After giving him a distasteful look, he offered a second patty. I told him three would be more to par with the angus patty. For a second time, I was refused. I begrudgingly took the burger and now, sit here, eating a $17 meal I didn’t order complaining to whoever will listen. Check your burger Pattie’s people. This isn’t the first time this...
