We were excited to try this after seeing it on the Texas Bucket List…But alas… it was such a let down… the people were nice…Friendly… but the food they highlighted… the BBQ, was just awful. I feel compelled to let you know how let down we feel…The Pit Row Pit Stop was such a disappointment. The brisket was DRY as cardboard and the Ribs were like jerky that had deep fried. They were shriveled and greasy and just sad. Beef jerky like, and dripping in grease. The sausage was fair, but sad that it was sliced and reheated. (Thinly sliced, w edges crispy charred) It all just felt like reheated leftovers. I even asked ahead of time if I could get moist brisket … and they didn’t know what I was talking about but said they would asked the kitchen. I dunno. It was sorry. I feel so bummed. And the food took forever, which may not have been an issue if the juke box was playing some music. It was so quiet and awkward. I feel so cheated. Did they put on a good show for the Bucket List?? He got good food?? Step it up Pit Row Pit stop!

My family got the burgers and onion rings which were good though. Can’t mess those up. I also got sweet potato fries which were good. We went on a Monday at lunch time and it was pretty dead. So there shouldn’t be an...

Wanted to try out the place because we pass it often. It looked cool when we went in and sat down. But then when our server came to take our order she sounded rude or just had attitude. I know everyone is going through tough times but that doesn't mean you decline in service.. next thing is she didn't even confirm what we ordered. And so some of our drinks were wrong. And I normally just go with whatever I ended up with. It's just the attitude we were served with. Mind you I went with my aunt and mother in law with my nearly 2 year old son. While most places are conscientious about where they set HOT plates down on our table, this lady places them RIGHT IN FRONT of my son. Even after we had already moved the napkin holder and condiments rack to the opposite edge of the table from my son so hot food doesn't sit where he can reach. My aunt got onion rings because last time she got them her basket was full and nearly overflowed. This time she only had 5 rings. My mother in law ordered the rib sandwich and when the server came back to tell us and my mother in law decided to stick with appetizers, the server rolled her eyes at us. So basically the quality of food was okay and overpriced with...

The food was bad. My French fries were cold and super soggy. I had Buffalo chicken fries because they had no chopped beef like the menu said. My French fries were cold and I wasn't just because of the condiments, the inside middle was warm but the rest were cold and very very very greesy. My husband had hot greesy fries with his double burger that the waitress kept asking if he wanted a cheese burger and he kept saying no a double burger (like the menu says!!!) My kids chicken from the chicken strip dinner was raw, he didn't eat it he brought it home to put in the air fryer and try to cook it. None of us were offered a refill. The only reason I gave any stars was because the owner lady was very nice, I just wish she would have come to the table sooner to tell us we could pay at the front instead if waiting for a waitress who never even came back to the table besides the three different trips she made to drop off our meals, three different trips for three meals as if we didn't want to eat all at once together. And why would she give a little boy a huge glass of ice AND a soda can,...

Easy to locate- there's a classic red truck outside. Parking lot is small. Great style inside. Booths and tables available. Inside is comfortable. Very casual. Servers are extremely friendly and welcoming. The owner came out from working what seemed to be the kitchen and spoke with guests; very nice man. Food items consists of: burgers, nachos, chicken fried steak, onion rings, fries, salads, bbq, baked potatoes, sandwiches, ice cream desserts, etc. We paid about $50 for 2 people. Drinks, loaded cheese fries, burger with fries, chicken fried steak with onion rings, and vanilla shake. We felt we got our money's worth. Portions were very large. This was the biggest chicken fried steak I've had (it covered the entire plate). Quality of food was decent. Served in fair time. The chicken fried steak was unfortunately mostly breading- if it were less it would be better as I found myself looking for the meat. Burger and loaded fries were great. Would return, but would order differently.

This is one of the best places to go in Livingston. The food is amazing. The burgers are served on delicious sourdough buns, you get to customize your order with different cheeses, which not many restaurants do around here. They have BBQ that tastes perfect. Food is fresh. You will have to wait but it's worth it. I love the pop up menu items so always look for signs posted around for the special items. Their ice cream options are wonderful and my daughters love to share the $7 Sundaes. The owner walks around and greets you, gets your opinions and really listens to what you have to say. I look forward to trying all the menu items, I have not been dissapointed yet. Pictured are my daughters powering through the heaping 2 scoop sundae with sprinkles and m&ms 😀
