We used to enjoy it, but then we went there about 4 times over the course of a few months and it was empty. Now the hours list closing at 7PM. What kind of fast food restaurant closes at 7PM? Apparently they open at 9AM, but I don't think they even serve breakfast. Doesn't make much sense.
Edit...After learning they now close at 7PM, headed up there as early as we could get there. Arrived at 6:47PM. There were 4 cars ahead of us. The first one pulled away quickly and then the line basically didn't move for 8-10 minutes. We arrived at the window and the time on my cell was exactly 7:00PM. Was told they were closed. There were a couple cars behind us blocking us and after a few minutes we had to get out of our cars and go tell everyone behind us they were closed so they would back up and let us out.
Arby's has lost our business permanently. Not just that location, but all Arby's. If a giant company that manages thousands of locations can't manage to implement common sense policies that respect their customers' time, then they should not exist. My business is a privilege not a constant. I may just be one person, but there were two more disappointed people behind me. It will...
Read moreOn September 3, 2013, I purchased a French Dip Combo (#6) from the Arby’s located on 8 Mile road in Livonia, Michigan (Unit# 5743). The menu price listed for the meal was $5.99. When placing my order, the cashier, Patryk, asked whether I wanted a “medium or a large”. Thinking those were my only two choices, I ordered a medium. However, the math didn’t work and when I questioned the cost of my order I discovered that there was a third, unannounced option - a small size. It was .59 cents less and consistent with the posted price of $5.99. When I mentioned to Patryk, who is also a manager, that I didn’t appreciate the deception, he explained (with a smile) that he was just following Arby’s policy and expressed concern that he’d loose his job otherwise. I don't know how wide spread this practice is but be aware that it exists and results in an overcharge relative to the menu price. In addition, if baiting and switching is an expectation at Arby’s, I have to wonder about other possible deceptions or cost cutting measures that might be applied to...
