Second time visiting. First time we all had liquid blizzards and it took a very long time even with pre-order. Second time (today) we waited 50 minutes for our ice cream. Then one person was served another runny blizzard. It was returned. We received solid blizzards for two people. We then waited another 20 minutes for a soft serve cone and one more blizzard. I was fed up after the wife was almost in tears. She was so upset our kids had no ice cream. We walked out leaving our ice cream and money. This place could be a true gem. Location is perfect. Management is the worst I have EVER seen. As a local business owner, I see major issues with management and training. The people working the counter are very nice but poorly trained, if trained at all. One young woman was so confused, she picked up the same bag three times and put it back down. She tried handing the “to go” order to the wrong person (also upset his kids were done eating and his order had yet to be delivered to him), he explained it wasn’t his order. She walked to the next guy and handed him the order of liquid blizzards. He expressed his agitation and left. Mind you, he was only there 20 minutes. I was keeping track for this review at this point. Another man walked out as he exclaimed “keep the six dollars, it ain’t worth the wait!” He had been there with a single person order before I got there. To the owner; I implore you to get some proper training and management in this place. It’s a disaster. Everyone is running around like a head cut chicken with absolutely no direction. You might stay in business with the few money droppers willing to accept the lost and wasted time in their lives. However, you could turn that around and truly thrive in this location with the right training and management. Just like I tell my employees as well as my kids, “do better, I see the potential, now I want to...
Read moreNever Again. On my first visit, it took what seemed like forever to even place an order and the music was very loud. The second visit was worse. I counted five employees that I could see in the space between the front counter and drive thru area; unfortunately, they did not seem to know what to do, including a young lady who had one of her arms inside of her reddish color fuzzy sweatshirt. They all had a troubled and confused look on their faces. I ordered a large Reese's Peanut Butter blizzard, and it took over 10 minutes to get it. I did notice that it was sitting in double counter freezer for a few minutes, but I could not get the attention of any employee to ask if it was mine. When the young man called my number and brought it to the counter, the top portion inside the cup was so melted and soupy that more than half of the spoon was inside the blizzard and a lot of condensation had built up on the outside of the cup. I mentioned that to the young man after he handed it to me, and his response was a very insincere and unapologetic 'sorry'. Due to the wait time being long, I was not able to ask for it to be remade or speak with someone about it because I was going to be late returning to work from my lunch break. From now on I will drive the extra 1 1/2 miles to Dairy King in Plymouth where everyone is on top of their game. I should have taken a picture before eating, but I didn't...
Read moreWow…. Terrible management! The manager was extremely overwhelmed and not equipped to handle a busy night. Can’t imagine how that mess will be in the warmer days to come plus holidays. Multiple workers standing around. They were all complaining on how much they hated the rush(that’s paying your paycheck) and the manager even said she “wanted to kill herself” I was appalled by their lack of professionalism especially while a customer is standing right there. There were very few employees working their hardest through the rush, with good work ethic and customer care.. maybe put those workers in a leadership role! I even overheard the manager talking to an employee about the boss saying “sorry it was a long day” and continued to complain about her job and her boss.
This was my first time at this location, I’m local, and it was my first time ordering a blizzard. I ordered through the app. They didn’t even have what I ordered in stock but charged me. Then my order came over 15 mins AFTER my pickup time! The blizzards were melted! Don’t they famously flip them over? They didn’t to these.. They were soup! Will not come back again. My poor dogs didn’t get an ice cream treat either, they waited in the car. I ended up having to go inside to get the order. We will go back to Dairy Dan’s on Wayne Road! They love...
