O'Malley's Supper Spirits & Song — Restaurant in Livonia

Hello everyone, I have been to this bar plenty of times over the past few weeks. Was a nice experience and was happy with everything. The food was great, service was great, and a wonderful atmosphere. I was there one night and walked out on a tab or so I thought. I went back days later for another casual mid day drink and was confronted with a very nice understanding bartender, angel. She was just excellent. I checked my tab and my credit card statement to see if I truly had not paid the few days prior. I said "ok whatever the bill is, I'll pay it" i paid it and after careful calculation after I realized they double charged me. I didn't think much of it being a local bar nearby and wanting to support a nice livonia business. It was $24.95 so nothing crazy. I paid it again. Realized after I double paid but whatever. I went in again and was told I cannot drink there anymore. Naturally I'm upset now and will be filling a dispute with Mastercard about it. It's really too bad that I can't trust a local bar not to scam me. I did my due diligence to make certain about this and talked to two of the bar tenders to make totally ccertain. They did serve me afterwards after I showed them but this one tender Jennette I believe to be her name blamed the owner after I cleared my unpaid debt and even offered to prepay and leave a credit with them just to make things right. Really a shame. I hope they can figure their books out or how I was double charged or double tabbed I guess you would call it. We have been coming to O'Malleys since it changed it's name from Sneaky Pete's and never had a problem. We love the food and love the service (especially Lola). The past three times we have just felt absolutely nickeled and dimed there. The first time, we were charged for extra salsa, tartar sauce, and salad dressing. The point is not the additional fifty cents it cost, the point is that nowhere is it stated on the menu or mentioned by the waitress. The second time, a salad that came with ground beef was switched to chicken, for an additional dollar, again, not the money, the upcharge is not posted or mentioned. The final time, the exact same salad switching out ground beef for chicken was upcharged three dollars. We brought it to the attention of our waitress and she just claimed that was how it rings up. So, you are selling a salad for $16 with the upcharge?? Luckily we were able to get the three dollars knocked off, but that isn't the point. If you are charging for substitutions, that is fine, but make sure it is on the menu and the waitress mentions it. The same with charging for additional sauces and dressings. There are many, many other good places to dine in Livonia where you aren't charged for every little change or extra thing...

My boyfriend and I had ordered some chicken wings with a variety of sauces for an appetizer on the final nights of the guts Frisbee tournament. A few friends joined up with us and they had ordered there food and had received it before we did. My boyfriend has asked the waitress where our food was and she admittedly forgotten to place our order. Next thing you know, the owners' of O'Malleys came to our table and profusely apologized for the waitress' mistake. They more than made it up to us and offered us 2 more free beers with 2 nice pours of Crown Royal. This already went over and beyond what we were expecting. The next thing we know, is they did not charge us for our chicken wings either. All we were charged were our 2 originals beers. We left the waitress a nice tip as well. I have never in all of my years in the service industry have seen such hospitality. I would highly recommend O'Malleys. It is not only a great time, but such good...
