9/15 Take Out. Chili, fries, Super C. Chili - Watery (soup), very sweet, Corn. Meh flavor Fries - Room temperature. Super C Warm with a ton of Mayo Which I do not eat. It is not listed on the print menu. From the Print menu: SUPER C TM lettuce, tomato, red onion, mustard, American cheese

Received a $5 code to use. Get all the way to checkout and I get "You must have an account to use this". Yeessh..... 8/4 Ordered Take Out. Grilled Chicken Salad, very good. Shrimp & Flounder dinner, shrimp OK. French Fries overdone brown and crunchy. Flounder way overdone dark brown and crispy. Cole slaw and tartar sauce nowhere near as good as the Mint Hill store. Still a 2 star experience. Lunch attempt yesterday 6/9 at 13:15 (1:15). Wife orders Shrimp and Flounder plate. Asks for a baked potato in place of fries. Young man behind the counter says"we don't have baked potatoes". Then stands there looking at us. My wife asks what other item she can substitute. Young man hits a couple buttons and starts rattling off the list. My wife tried to stop him at one point and he just kept on reading. Finally gets his attention and tells him her choice. He looks at her, nothing happens. We Left. Going to the Mexican restaurant next door....

I have not had a great gyro in years! I'm talking since I moved south in 2016 from Pittsburgh, PA & my hometown New Castle, PA where i grew up eating various types of Greek/Middle Eastern food. We recently moved to NC in Jan 2025. I never heard of Showmar's until I read there was a location opening up here in Midland/Locust area. My daughter ordered via Doordash for me from Pittsburgh as I wasn't feeling well after a back procedure...OMG it was so delicious!! My husband & I then went together to dine inside and again, we both enjoyed our meals and it was alot to where neither one could finish. I had the mini Gyro this time and still had a few bites left. I plan on trying other dishes/sandwiches they have too - next week be a chicken gyro as I've never had that before. Inside dining is small and they ask that you wait for entire party before you seat yourself etc and it's understandable. I highly recommend you give them a try.

This new Showman’s in Locust is sorely needed. I give this location a rating of 10 for being consistent with the other Showmars restaurants in terms of the quality of the food. However, this location excels in service. They have wait staff who constantly ask if they can get you anything or if you are enjoying the food, and they do it with a smile. I live nowhere near here but come to this location because it’s a straight shot, the food is good and the awesome service. I wish them much success and pray they keep up the excellent attitude and service. I even saw the owner Mr. Couchell here last week, greeting customers and ensuring good service was experienced. Welcome to Locust Showmars! I love the flounder and shrimp platter, the fish sandwich and their new special: hickory smoked barbecue sandwich and tater tots. I was so hungry and the food so good, that I forgot to...
