Arrived right before puck drop for Round 1, Game 4 of the Hurricanes vs Islanders. Called earlier in the week to ensure they'd have the game on. Asked to have the game put on one of the 12 or so TVs, was told "if you can figure out what channel". Got the game going just a couple of minutes later. They had a couple of local draughts but the out server couldn't explain anything about them. Ordered Salt & Pepper and Mild wings, average typical bar wings. The Tater Tots were perfect! At a tad before 4 pm, our server asked if we could settle our bill, as she was off at four. From the time she left until the game was over at 5:45 pm, (nearly two hours) nobody cleared our high top, checked on us, offered another drink... Our table was directly in front of the server station. Every server passed our table numerous times. It's cool place tons of sporting banners, ample seating inside and an awesome outdoor patio area. Bar management has failed their staff. I would not recommend Tailgators.

First time going here, I called in a Togo order. Upon arrival I paid in cash, total was $12.70 gave $15.00 was asked if I wanted my change, yes I do. I do tip on Togo orders by not 20%. I can only assume she didn’t like that as when she brought my change she pointed to my order and said “that’s your order over there” rather than making an effort to get it for me. I placed a tip on the counter but immediately picked it back up and I’m glad I did as there were no utensils nor napkins supplied with my order. Now for the food…… I ordered the breaded buffalo chicken sandwich with a side of potato salad. The sandwich did not resemble a buffalo chicken sandwich I’d ever seen before and it was nothing short or disgusting. The bun was so stale that when playing rock paper scissors with my kids I grabbed the bun and broke the rock. While this was my first visit to this establishment it is also my last. Buffalo sauce on Dino nuggets at home is better.

Found the place while just passing through on a drive from up Winston Salem way. The food was great!! Hot, fresh and tasty. The service was on point and friendly. We both got the gator bites appetizer which was phenomenal. My fiance got ribs and fries with the ribs being perfectly tender and seasoned. I got the gator wrap and I loved it. It has the same gator bites as the appetizer, with cheese, lettuce, tomato and a hot sauce. Again, I loved it and I'm not a fan of wraps. Both plates had fries and they were one of the best fries ever. Perfectly crispy with a fluffy center that was well balanced and they held their heat well. Definitely not apposed to an hour drive down here to eat again.

Don't waste your time. Poor service, poor management, awful food that is really tasteless. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have ordered chicken wings as take out and my order has been wrong and they do not even seem to care. I ask for crispy wings and I get rubber. I ask for 30 wings and my order goes to someone else and I have to beg and plead for my $ back or a gift card. Screw that. I just stopped going. I gave it another shot last night hoping things have changed and because we really have no other options for true dining in Locust other than Mexican and a diner. Went in and had to almost go into the kitchen to find a hostess to be seated. They had a woman singing at the loudest decibel known to man and she was horrible and they were out of both sweet and unsweet tea. On top of that, the hostess looks at us, as if to say, "oh do you want something?" We ordered drinks and I made decision with my wife to just up and leave and drive to Applebees. For the only real bar/restaurant in the area, it lacks class and professionalism. Not a very civilized place to be. It really needs to model itself after a real restaurant. This place is crying for new management to come in and just clean house and start over with a fresh menu, better cooks and a staff that believes in great service. Grills shut off at 9:30pm and all they have is fried food at that point. No thanks. Locust deserves better. We have been here since 8/2020 and nothing has changed with this place. So disappointing. If I had the money, I would buy them out and put something there that people would be proud of. This is nothing to be proud of. I really give it no stars but had to highlight one here just to get...

Been visiting this place for over 15 years now. Tailgators Bar and Grill in NC is an amazing place to grab some grub and drinks with friends or family. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with plenty of TVs for sports fans to catch their favorite games.

One is sure to be enamored with the delectable food options presented in their diverse menu. Their culinary offerings cater to many tastes, featuring succulent burgers, wings, sandwiches, and salads. One would be remiss to forego the opportunity to indulge in their wings, and gator tail poppers, which are truly exceptional. Particularly noteworthy are the garlic parmesan and honey mustard wing flavors, which are highly recommended. Moreover, the service at Tailgators is exceptional, with the staff exhibiting amiability and attentiveness, ensuring that diners have a superlative dining experience. The establishment boasts an impressive variety of beers on tap and a full bar with tantalizing cocktails.

Another great feature of Tailgators is the outdoor seating area, which is perfect for enjoying a meal and drinks in the fresh air. They also have live music and other events throughout the week, making it a great spot for a night out.

I highly recommend Tailgators Bar and Grill to anyone looking for a relaxed dining experience in NC. It's a great place to gather with friends, enjoy some amazing food and drinks, and have a great time! Be sure to try the succulent gator...

Same Tailgators minus a divider wall when you first go inside. Oh & the servers seem to be different too (one step away from Hooters outfits) but def the cooter shorts & tight tops for now. Unfortunately, this visit wasn't different from most others. Little to no service. Food was okay, though, not a lot of variety. I did try the S&P Talpia basket and thought it was great. When we first entered, the hostess didn't acknowledge us with even an apologetic smile as she seemed to be helping go over the entire menu with someone by phone. After a while, our server came saying she could seat us since she'd be our waitress. We appreciated that. (We had already decided before going in on how much we'd tolerate THIS time before we'd just leave... as we go about once every 6-18mos now). She took our order and brought our tea & water. She brought our food, and until she showed back up with our bill, no one checked on us. No drink refill, no offer of dessert, no offer of to-go cups or a box. She came back by to grab the bill/card, and as she rushed away again, we had to call out to her requesting a to-go box. This was between 3-4p on a Sat. I saw 2 other tables with different servers, so I'm not sure why...
