I'm not all that impressed. First, they MAKE you pay a tip by adding it in with your regular bill on the POS machine. I'm so over the tipping BS as it is. Tips are supposed to be voluntary for good service....which sometimes you get here and sometimes you don't but they'll have you pay an 18% tip regardless. One time I ordered two main dishes- I had a son at home not feeling well that I was going to take the major part of one to after I ate the part of it that he wasn't going to like or want, they brought me one of the dishes and never brought me the other.

Then at bill time they tried to charge me for both and when I informed them that I never got the second dish so I need not pay for it...the server actually got irritated and scolded me for not running around behind them and making sure that they did it- why did I not do that. I don't know, maybe I feel like ordering/requesting it was my part of the deal and it was up to them to either provide or no. I'm not their mother and if I'm out I'm actually wanting respite from my usual life being a mother and being responsible for everything for just a little bit. And I was still charged the tip. Yeah...no. It's just ok.

The staff is usually fairly nice even though not overly attentive, the place clean, the food is more or less edible but overpriced for what it is which seems like warmed pre prepared/canned stuff from the grocery store mostly (I have been to MANY taco trucks that do ever so much better for less cost)- nothing special or that I couldn't make at home- so nothing spectacular, but the whole mandatory tipping thing as well as being scolded for not doing their job for them has put me...

Desperate to eat somewhere in Lodi at 7:00pm on a weekend in Lodi, ended up here. Exterior and interior reminded me of my favorite mexican restaurant in San Jose. Sadly, the service. staff and food were bad... i mean really bad. As we waited for the emotionless waitress (who was doubling as bartender) i looked up reviews and prayed it wasn't true. Cold food, rude staff, bland food. I got #3, really wanted to try chili verde. It was bad... cubed pork that seemed to be boiled in water then a very light spoonful of a transparent green sauce. Ate 2 chunks and moved onto the rice. Good, but salty. Beans cold and flavorless. Chili Relleno, cold and tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Chili colorado good, tender and nice sauce. Problem was all these sauces melded into a wet puddle, i stopped eating. Waitress gone, never returned. Host with orange hair just stared off into space and wouldn't smile, no one checked on us. saw some flan being delivered. When some stranger dropped check off, we said we want flan...death stare. Tried that, was so overcooked, texture like bitting into feta cheese. Bottom was black. Got home and...

Place was busy. Wait time 5 min. Service was terrible. Our waitress was pushy and impatient. We were seated asked what we'd like to drink sat down menu brought. Opened menu waitress asked if we were ready to order. 😯 she came back two more times inside 5 min asking if we were ready to order. No time to really look at menu. Finally ordered. Didnt care for Shrimp cocktail appetizer. Wasn't worth the price charged. Shrimp was mushy. Our meal took a long time. When we got our meal our beans were cold. I ordered chilli verde. It hardly no green sauce and it was cold. We asked for more sauce. Waitress said ok and went on doing other things. We saw her going hto other tables and checking out customers. Never went to kitchen. I asked a waiter to get it. He came back with the piping hot sauce and spilled it on my phone. Our Waitress came over and said "is everything alright?" I said "NO!" By this time I was so upset I couldn't eat. Husband finished his dinner and asked for a box. She didn't even offer a discount or fix our meal. We paid for our meal and now writing this review. I won't return there. Our waitresses name...
