I would avoid playing here, there is definitely some form of cheating going on. With the economy, weather and Sky River these local cardrooms are really being pushed to the brink of closing. Before closing they are going to take as much of your money as possible. Last 3 months if you have played here or the Manteca location you know exactly what I am saying. Dealer always has 20/21. And when it comes to busting they always seem to avoid a 5,6,7 card bust with a miracle Ace, 2 or 3.
My theory is the dealers are incenttivized to take as much of your money as possible and given a percentage. The cards have different textures, Aces, Faces, and 10's are slick. Cards lower than a 7 have rough edges (notice the shoes always sticking lol).
I really hope that these places can be more regulated soon. People should wait until rule changes are implemented that show all the cards in the shoe, then shuffled Infront of everyone every 4...
Read moreMy wife and I have not played poker in a long time so the opportunity came along where we had a night out alone. Trying to find a casino nearby we seen that this place had really great reviews and thought we try it out. I will say this along with the other reviews they're 100 percent true!! We started off at the bar and we were assisted by Carmen who explained she was new but she was absolutely nice and took her time to explain to us the menu and the atmosphere plus sharing what food to eat. She also made really good drinks and didn't skim on the liquor 😀👍 After that we headed to the card room to play some limit poker. While the dealers were sub par the other players there made up for the some of the energy lacking, again it was overall a great experience and we will be back there...
Read moreI have to admit that in the last five times I’ve gone there, I have won only once. I only play blackjack, so for this table game there are generally two tables open. One with multiple decks (I think it’s seven) out of a shoe and the other is a single deck and generally with a higher minimum bet than the game with multiple decks. If you wish to play on the table with a single deck, the management requires that you start betting from the first hand; otherwise you must wait for a new shuffle. The atmosphere is generally good and dealers are generally nice and treat you like they wish for all participants to win. They do not make you feel uncomfortable at anytime leaving you to concentrate on your hands. Not a bad place to enjoy a couple of hours you...
