Staffing seems really good. Went in by myself. The 1st thing the guy said was, is this going to be the only thing you order? I said , yes, I'm here by myself. He said, are you sure? Is this goimg to be your complete order because I need to know now before we continue, it makes it easier for me to know now. I said , sir, your line of question eludes all sense of reason, can we continue with the vegetarian bowl? As if i was too stupid to know how many items i was going to order. He also was talking very loudly, kind of an attempt at intimidation or just an inexperienced young person, assuming all old people cant hear, or probably more like age discrimination or age insensitivity. At that point, I should have simply left. At check out, I ordered a bag of their tortilla chips. There were only a few little bags left on the shelf. That should have stopped me, obviously they had been there a long time and sure enough, the were greasy and stale. Sad. Oh, and the helper who was so rude and strange decided to take his break and sat at the table across from me, facing me, and stared at me the the whole time I was eating my vegetarian bowl. How odd. I almost confronted him but it wasnt worth the stress. . This whole encounter was unkind, unfriendly and rather suspicious, like I wasn't welcomed there. Young service helpers are obviously not being trained on how to meet and serve the general public which is generally fairly diverse, it's this lack of sensitivity and common respect toward the customer that is so off-outting. I'm an older person, agism exists, people. This isn't...
Read moreLove the food, & and have always been a fan, but I guess the owners must be having a hard time staying a float. I was told by a manager that the employees are being monitored on camera, and reprimanded, or fired for taking care of customers specialized requests such as seperating rice from a burrito bowl to be eaten on the side? NOT EXTRA RICE ,JUST IN A SEPARATE CONTAINER! You can no longer order extra anything without a crazy up charge! Also, absolutely no consistency on service, employees, or quality. The owners of this franchise should be ashamed. You are teaching the young generation of service industry employees NOT to take care of customers properly. If you can't afford to keep your business running, then sell it to someone who can treat its patrons with dignity & respect! Your customers are why you are in business. Without customers, you have ZERO! Went back again recently4/24/24 Out of Vinigrette, out of Avacado, out of forks etc......
Read moreI usually love this location and this is not the only Lodi establishment guilty of this terrible lack of customer service/care, but there have been too many times that I have been inside Chipotle to enjoy my meal when I ask them to adjust the air conditioner because the dining room is an icebox.
In the past, the night shift supervisor had no problem adjusting it. However, now, I get a deer in the headlights look followed up with, "I'm sorry sir, my boss doesn't let me!" or "I'm sorry sir, I don't know how!" Ok, it's not that hard to adjust a thermostat. However, my absolute favorite (and I have heard this uttered at not one, but three local establishments), "Sir, we leave it on because it's hot back here where we are cooking your meals, so you are just going to have to live with it, I'm sorry." Very frustrating.
It was 57 degrees outside...
