Festive place. Semi small with 4 TV's on each East/West side of the walls. Small bar with decent seating. Great service by all the waiters and waitresses. The shrimp cocktail was the reason for our visit and it did not disappoint. Tons of shrimp, great amount of chopped onions, tomatoes and cucumbers with a small size being plenty of food for a child or adult for $14.99. Complimentary tostadas and ceviche are provided and the horchata was very tasty. Will most DEF be back! Love the sign on the wall and a digital jukebox so watch out for the music above depending on where you sit.

Update... 1/30/24 - still the best fish tacos in Lodi!!! Do not pass this place up BEST FISH TACOS IN LODI, HANDS DOWN!!! I think they are breaded and then deep fried. Fajitas are great as well. We don't go there often only because they are always packed, but that's because their food is great! We went last night and it was freezing outside, maybe some outdoor patio heaters would be a nice touch due to outside dining during this pandemic...? Just a suggestion :) Portions are fair and I really like that they serve ceviche instead of salsa like all other Mexican resturants.

I came here because it was recommended and it was amazing. I loved the food and it felt very authentic. I would definitely bring my family here but I’d recommend to call and see if you can reserve a table or two if your coming with family. The rice was soft and I thought it was going to be hard because it was white rice and usually every time I see that type of rice it ends up being hard. Not in this case. I’d like to thank everyone who did such a great job and the feeling of welcoming was great as well. 😋

The shrimp was really dirty as in the vein that goes through the top. That dark stuff in that vein is poop!! That’s the shrimp’s digestive tract All of them had a dark vein. I asked nicely if they could be cleaned and they said no because that’s the way they come. No restaurant would ever do that. Any other restaurant wants to keep their customers happy. The place was not busy at all. There was just another couple there and myself and the cook and the waitresses were hanging out just singing and laughing and joking around. I will never go there again. I ended up not ordering anything else because I wanted a shrimp tostada.(the poop ruined it for me.) So I just ended just paying for my diet Pepsi, and what they serve as an appetizer fish ceviche. Which I understand because the fish ceviche comes complementary only if...

The wife and I were in Lodi Thursday afternoon so we decided to get some seafood. A friend recommended La Islitas so that's where we decided to go. I wish I could give this spot 10 stars! Wasn't very busy. The waiter was super friendly. We received ceviche pescado con tostadas instead of chips and salsa, and it was legit! My wife ordered 7 seas and I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp. It was incredible! Food tasted fresh and clean. They even refilled our ceviche so we could take it home! Definitely our go to spot for seafood. Even if the service was bad, which the service was great, we'd still go back for the food! Keep up the...
