I took a friend here on Thursday for coffee and a sandwich the lady who took our order was RUDE when we asked questions since it was our first time there she was also very rushing..note we were the only people in line, everyone else in the whole building was sitting eating. we both ended up getting severe food poisoning immediately afterwards, we were throwing up and lived on the toilet for 2 days. Both of us had to miss work. i called on friday the afternoon we felt sick , i spoke to a girl named Janelle and she told me that she processed my refund and id have it back in 2 days. 5 days later still nothing so i called and spoke to Jocelyn. She told me that they came to the conclusion that i in fact did not have food poisoning and the lady Janelle said i had a “tummy ache” and i would no longer get my refund. Unprofessional. You don’t get to tell me how i felt after eating your food. For being a new place, i would expect way better employees and management. i am disgusted. 🤢
referring back to the OWNERS comment. i came in one day, you have the receipts to process the refund so you know what was ordered. nobody got a bacon sandwich. nobody got a frappe. we got iced coffees , only thing that was added or changed to the sandwich was the cheese. Fat shaming people who give you business is disgusting and you can tell how professional you are as an owner. “Tummy ache” was never spoken by myself, look back on your calls and MY card being spent and come back to me with how many times i came back to that disgusting place. Thanks for the refund, I will never...
Read moreI went in last night. The place looked good and seemed like a nice atmosphere. I wasn't keen on the high countertop sides, it made the place seem like you were at a check cashing place.
Service was abysmal with staff rudeness.
I asked the lady she knew if the house boba was vegan. She said, "I dont think so." Now we can all make guesses, but I can make guesses without help. I responded with, are you guessing or do you know? She paused, exhaled like I asked her something unreasonable and said, "Well, just think about what it's made of," I responded with, tapioca? Confused by this as tapioca is root starch. She stared at me blankly. So, I asked if she could look at the ingredients. She continued to stare and exhaled again. We were just stood like this for about 10 seconds before a young man appeared from out of the back. She asked him if the boba was vegan, he said no its not (he seemed sure) I asked if he knows what's not vegan about it, as alot of people are not sure about these things and boba is usually vegan but some places add stuff to it like honey, he said he doesn't know why not but its not vegan.
Now I dont mark down places for items not being vegan or not having vegan items. But I will mark a place down for their attitude, the service and not wanting to respond or help with questions about the food/drink...
Read moreI’ve walked by this place several times when in Lodi and decided to give it a try while my cousin was in town. We were craving an afternoon coffee and wanted to avoid chain options, and the café looked inviting. Unfortunately, despite having no high expectations, I was quite disappointed.
I ordered a flavored latte, but it tasted like plain steamed milk with no trace of espresso or flavoring. It took about 20+ minutes to receive our drinks. While there were a decent number of customers, the wait time seemed excessive for a simple latte and tea. Since we were in a rush, I requested a refund because we didn’t have enough time to wait for a replacement.
The young woman at the front counter—whose name I won’t mention—was very rude while handling my request. We won’t be returning, and I would suggest the owners consider incorporating customer service training for their team. I understand that many employees in this type of business are high school students, but poor customer service should not be tolerated. If this business hopes to thrive, this issue needs to...
