Wendy's — Restaurant in Lone Oak

We were so disappointed! There were 10 cars in front of us, at least! And it was lunch time, around noon. The sandwiches we ordered were acceptable but the fries were limp and cold! We came in partially for the meal to treat our chocolate lab for doing well with his healthcare provider visit and he would have scorched his mouth on those fries if they had been hot LOL but instead they were subpar and considering the time of day there should have been hot batches of fries coming up constantly. But then I'm not the manager. I did call the manager and she said that if I was to come back through a good let them know about my experience and they would give us some fries on them to make up for it. She should have done her job in the first place. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, I know it's hard to find good help in this area. And I hope this has helped them to make some changes during the main meal hours. Especially considering that the dining room is closed and the only customers coming through the restaurant are at...

This location decided to suddenly stop working 40 minutes before they were set to close two days after a tornado hit a town nearby (December 12th, 2021). But they didn't do it in an intelligent manner.

They just told people through the drive thru speaker to please wait a moment and never return. Employees came outside for a smoke break right in front of all 12 cars wrapped around the building.10 pm rolls by, then an automated message began playing to let all of us in the drive thru know that location was now closed.

For 40 minutes of time we were all literally trapped in the line due to the way the drive thru was designed with a concrete median preventing us from just pulling away, and a staff that wanted to smoke cigarettes and play on their cell phones instead of their actual job. They should be fired... All of them for such ridiculousness....

I've been going to this Wendy's for years. With usually good service. Lately there appears to be an ongoing problem with running out of side items like baked potatoes and chili. You get hemmed in their drive-thru with several cars fore and aft, and find once you get to the speaker, they don't have what you want, and either have to change your order, or don't order at all. Don't let any profanity slip out in frustration, or the self-righteous shift supervisor will come on the speaker and threaten you. Completely unsatisfactory customer service.

There's a dichotomy of service between the M-F day crew, with the extremely nice and competent store manager present, and the night crew who are very defensive and combative. Middle class older White males who complain about service, seem to...
