La Delicia Mexican Restaurant Tacos & Tequila — Restaurant in Lone Oak

I have ordered from LaDelcia 4 times through door dash and had it delivered, there WILL NOT be a 5th door dash delivery. Every single time we have ordered we have had multiple items missing, and tonight is the last straw. It is a shame because the food, oh the food is incredible, which is the only thing I can say for making a 4th mistake at attempting an order. Tonight when I ordered, it was not just me and my husband, but my 2 granddaughters, one of which got absolutely nothing out of 3 items ordered that she picked out. She's 7, I was so excited because he and her 9 year old sister decided just for me they would TRY something new and unfamiliar, so I let them both pick out whatever they wanted to try off the menu, and then Mac and cheese with fries as a back up for s thumbs down. We spent well over $100 and imagine the disappointment when over HALF my entire order was not delivered. Both their Mac and cheese, a 12 piece order or grilled shrimp a 4 plate chimichanga sampler. The last time I had my entire meal missing from the order and I called the restaurant they were too busy and short staffed for them to fix their screw up and deliver it, but said if I would like to come get it they would gladly remake it, I did not go get it considering I had it delivered to begin with. So I turned to door dash support and was able to get it refunded. After 2 attempts to call tonight with no answer I didn't even bother to call again I again turned to door dash support and was able to get refunded,sadly it was $45 in refund, food ordered paid for and not received. THEN after spending all that money to but get the other, literally had to order my 7 year old granddaughter McDonald's. It's really a shame because the food is wonderful but I'm not willing to continue the pattern of ordering and not receiving my entire order every single time and then asking door dash to fix it, it is not not the fault of for dash at all yet they are the ones that will actually take care of the negligence and obvious lack of attention and care for their customers. I honestly can only hope the dine in and carry out experience is better than the delivery or business will not be around for very long and i will not be the only former customer never to return... Terrible service (worst ever. So much so i don't revisit as much as my taste-buds want. Was heckled over the bill because of hair in entre & correct temperature of food and management does a lot of eye-rolling, wait-staff was slow rude & non-responsive), but delicious food. Like I stated before, the food is delicious, atmosphere is great and clean, the service will be terrible 8 out of 10 times (please fix) especially when the older staff are present and on the floor in contact with the public (unfortunately, I do not know their names) and few times it seemed that a language-barrier kept things from running smoothly. I do frequent hundreds of restaurants across the nation, and yes, the hospitality here is the worst imaginable.

NOTE... management will make all kinds of excuses EVEN BLAME CUSTOMERS AND DELIVERORS FOR THEIR SHORTFALLS and as I stated... fight you verbally at all corners. Sad, for such a great-food- tasting establishment. I wish they'd fix their hospitality and I'd visit & and send more...

This is our 2nd visit. They are located in the heart of Lone Oak. In a well known building and location. Mexican food choices around here have become huge! We tried La Delicia when they first opened. They claim the best most authentic in Paducah. Food was terrible and dry and service was just not available. I work at a very busy Service Station down the street. Some customers were recommending it so my husband and I decided to give it another try. We won't be doing that again. Tortilla's were as if been in water so soggy.
