Bixby’s Sports Bar — Restaurant in Long Beach

Laid back Trendy Sports Bar. Wood and metal interiors. Good music! Oldies and Ratchet music. Kind of a bikers crowd on Thursday I guess. They don't have hard whiskey yet... 😑 something about them being only a year old. I didn't know you had to wait to get a full bar 🙄. I only drink whiskey 🥃 had to settle for Fireball. (I know its whiskey, sort of) They did have a buy two shots get the 3rs one free which worked perfectly because there was 3 of us. Bartender was super friendly and so was the barback. I'd come here again. It was kind of empty which was cool cause we got the pool table to ourselves. They also have complementary popcorn and pork rinds. And the bathrooms are very clean. I want to see what this place is like on a Friday...

We call this the "secret bar" because there is no signage or anything outside. We found it by accident. Absolutely horrifying patronizing as a women. I was glad I was there while the sun was still out. Super creepy roofie vibes. They cannot sell hard liquor, so their "cocktails" are cheap renditions using beer, seltzer, or wine. The same regulars are all men, one of which I recognized as someone who stalked my friend. Definitely...

beer and wine only. it's got aa bit of an industrial building feel to it. lots of variety when it comes to beer, wine and champagne. they also offer Soju as well. lots of space for larger groups, a pool table and free popcorn. mostly a college aged crowd and everyone is super friendly! beer coolers as low as 25ºF. ...
