PhilHouse — Restaurant in Long Beach

My family and I went to PhilHouse for dinner, and we were disappointed in one particular lady's attitude and lack of enthusiasm. According to the receipt, the lady's name was "Nelly R", and she was short in height, rude, unfriendly, and grumpy. We were made to feel like burdens by her lack of smiling. When my brother suggested she smile when she served customers, she said, "we are all humans, and we get tired too.". 🤦🏻‍♂️ There were other customers nearby who heard her say this and accused my brother of being harsh. 🤯 Fortunately, those customers who heard her speaking also said that she was rude and that the service was slow. Ive seen it many times before but didnt purchase. I finally did and OMG it was delicious!! So many options to choose from. The girls were nice. They explained the best they could what the options were. English is my 2nd language so it took a bit for me to understand but they were patient and kind. The area was kept very clean. As soon as something spills when serving they clean up. You can use your phone number when you pay to get points. The process from ordering to paying is easy and fairly quick, even during busy hours. Poor customer service, slow serving & rude staff. One of the lady staff keep pretending that she's very busy, she keeps arranging the foods that doesn't need arranging plus their's alot of people waiting in line and waiting to their service but they just let one very slow person to serve all the people in line, she or they just ignore the fact that customers are in a hurry or hungry plus they're not approachable not smiling even the tone of their voice sounds irritated.
