Brite Spot Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Long Beach

It was just OK. I expect Mexican food to be authentic and all home made when I go to a real Mexican restaurant. The chips came from a bag and were not very good. I got the works burrito with chicken and it was fine. I cant say it was good or bad, it did its job of filling my hunger. My husband got the works burrito with carne asada and he said it was really grisly. It's dated on the inside and needs a really good cleaning. The woman that served us said about 3 words to us, the service was slow. I would only come here again if it was the last Mexican place...

I have been dining here for over 6 years now. The food is delicious and the service is always on-point. The shrimp "street-style" tacos are amazing and very big with lots of ingredients. The Shrimp enchiladas are also incredible - they will serve them with green sauce by request (recommended). Carne Asada burritos (both wet & dry) are super tasty. Molcajete was also very good with a TON of food in there.

This is a cozy, simple, no frills neighborhood spot for some comfort food. I stop here on occasion at the end of a work day,grab a beer and a few lengua tacos and it's tasty served with excellent and friendly customer service. It's a low key place, so don't expect a fancy interior, but do expect some tasty food, a TV or two playing whatever game May be on, and the friendly staff that will take care of you.
