No freezers, no heat lamps, no microwaves. Epic Wings is a wing shop that does a bit extra to stand out amongst the crowd. I was in the area for an infrared sauna/ Himalayan salt lounge session at Radiance, across the street, and everything coordinated serendipitously for a little R & R and eats.

Epic Fries- Crispy fresh-cut fries with melted cheese, topped with boneless buffalo chicken, finished with chipotle/ranch dressing. I chose Medium Buffalo sauce for the boneless chicken. An entire plate stuffed with thick, freshly cut fries, the Epic Fries were tummy stuffing and good! I don't partake of fries that much, but made the exception for my birthday month treat. Ample amounts of boneless chicken, too!

Service was great. The woman at the register was friendly, and my Epic Fries were cooked to order, so it took a bit of awhile. There is a good amount of interior seating, with a spacious patio for dining al fresco. Epic Wings is located at the Bixby Knolls Center, with plenty of parking available.

With a Weekday Happy Hour 4pm - 7pm, and a not too shabby Birthday Month freebie for Rewards members, Epic Wings highly impressed me. As a guy who soured on Buffalo Wild Wings & Wingstop, it's nice to know there's a wing shop that goes above & beyond, despite not being the best for the bottom line. I look forward to coming back & trying Epic Wings' bone-in...

I have been eating at Epic Wings for years and was extremely excited to see that after I moved to Long Beach, they opened one down the street from my house!!

The four strip meal is where it's at! You get four perfectly cooked tender chicken strips in your choice of sauce (mine is Hot) with a small size of veggies (I go all carrots), and my favorite . . . two of the best bread sticks! I honestly can't decide if I like the chicken or the bread sticks more! That's how good they are!

Pro Tip: get a side of sauce and blue cheese (or ranch) to dip your bread sticks into! You're welcome!

What I love about the hot sauce off that it's the perfect combination of heat and flavor! I can't stand eating spicy food that just burns my mouth so I can't taste anything. What's the point in that? Epic Wings hot sauce hits just right! The first thing I notice when it hits my tongue is the amazing flavor! Then the heat comes in line a dance partner to tango with the flavors on your taste buds!

I've tried to stop at either wing spots but nothing hits...

I love Epic Wings! I first stumbled upon it in Temecula on the way to San Diego, and I’m so glad I did. Honestly, these wings are better than Buffalo Wild Wings, Wingstop, Korean wings,so pretty much anywhere else I’ve tried.

We ordered the 2-person meal, which comes with 12 wings (we chose mild buffalo), 4 breadsticks, veggie sticks, and a dip. The wings were drenched in sauce, super flavorful, and creamy. The breadsticks were hot, chewy, buttery, and had that perfect salty crisp. Even the veggie sticks were fresh and crunchy. Everything tasted made-to-order and fresh.

The only thing to note is that it feels more like a fast-food setup, not a hangout spot like Buffalo Wild Wings—but honestly, I don’t mind at all. I’m there for the wings, and Epic Wings...
