Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Long Beach

The order taker/cashier marissa with the bad eyeliner was so rude. I’m going off the name on the receipt since she was not wearing a name badge. I’ve never been treated so horribly unnecessarily. When placing my order I asked for a number 8 as a double and she said double guacamole and I said no a double patty and she said with an angry sarcastic tone “ right so a double guacamole”. I said again a double patty, this obviously upset her because that’s when she started having an attitude. I do not work there so I don’t know what she meant by double guacamole I thought she meant extra guacamole. I was flustered by her anger that I forgot to make my fries criscut instead of regular. When I got to the window I apologized and said if I could please make them criscut when I was about to hand her my card for payment. Again it was obvious she was annoyed as she stormed off. When she finally came back to the window she said in a sharp tone “next time you need to tell me you want criscut fries before you get to the window. I apologized again and didn’t want to say well sorry you were being rude and made me flustered. I said sorry the car in front of me I could tell the guy was under the influence as I could actually see him dozing off in his side mirror and couldn’t keep his eyes open. Once again I was met with attitude and argumentative she said I just saw him he was fine. I said ok I must be mistaken. I just finished a 12 hour shift and the last thing I want to deal with is someone who is just a miserable human being and doesn’t know how to be kind, made me feel like a child being scolded by a teacher for no reason. I gave her a tip for her troubles I hope she learns to be kinder...

This is a great location for Carl's Jr. It's very close close to the Freeway. I stop by every time I work in the area or even when I pass it. When you have long drives like me, this is perfect. Its a very peaceful restaurant. Very peaceful. After a hard day's work yah it helps to have a relaxing environment. The food is nice. They are very good at making great recommendations especially when you are hungry and don't know what to eat. And them making it fresh is even better. Most fast food places don't even do that with asking. Here it's done whether you ask or not. The staff seem to be pretty cool here 😎. Good, hot and fresh food is always good but great service is what you don't find most of the time. There's a young lady who works there who makes it look all so easy I believe her name is Maricela seems to be very experienced. A very skilled employee indeed. I hope they are paying her well as fast food is not easy but she seems to be a VERY hard worker. Please give her a raise. This Carl's is near our home & when we eat from there, we usually go between 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM & go through the drive-thru. Never seem to have a problem waiting in drive-thru for too long; standard wait like every where else. Customer service is usually, professional, friendly & polite. NEVER encountered anyone who was rude. We usually get 2 Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger combos with either regular fries or criss-cut fries & drinks & a Famous Star with cheese combo with regular fries & drink. Food is almost always consistently fresh, hot & good. I always order my drink as "easy ice" &, nine times out of ten, I get it that way. Occasional mishaps with our orders, but they are few & far between. My biggest issue is when we say "no ketchup" & we end up...
