I was planning a get together for my son’s 21st birthday and he wanted Mediterranean food. I did some research to try to find the best food that would fit in my budget. The experience: Once I called DVine and spoke to Jesus, I knew I had found the right place. I called asking information on their catering options and ended my conversation with a confirmed order for 40 people. Jesus was very kind, patient, and helpful in answering my questions. I ordered beef shawarma, chicken kebabs, hummus, and cucumber yogurt salad. He was kind enough to throw in all the pita bread, sauces, and order of falafel, and grilled veggies on the house. Fast forward to Saturday when I drove to the restaurant to pick up my catering order. I walk in and am greeted by Jesus who already has a few surprises waiting for me. In addition to what we had confirmed over the phone, he also added baklava, fresh cut fruit, and rice pudding to my order. Such a kind gesture. As he’s bringing out the trays with the entrees, he points to the beef shawarma and chicken shawarma. I asked him if he said chicken shawarma to ensure I hadn’t heard incorrectly. He could tell by my expression that something was wrong and asked immediately if he had gotten it wrong. I said I had ordered chicken kebab, not chicken shawarma. He immediately made it right by saying, he’d have the kebabs fired up immediately and personally deliver them. He spoke to the cook and before I left, I could see that the kebabs were already on the grill. After helping me load my car, he sent me off with the beef and chicken shawarma and assured me that he’d be at my home soon with my kebabs. Within 30 minutes of arriving home, Jesus was at my house with the hot and fresh kebabs. My guests were so impressed taste didn’t disappoint! The food: The beef and chicken shawarma were very flavorful and juicy and the chicken kebab was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and succulent - not dry at all, which could be challenging to pull off with chicken breast. The sauces were a hit, especially the garlic sauce and the hummus was perfectly smooth and creamy. The pita bread was was not too thin and just thick enough to be the perfect vessel for the sauces and hummus. I highly recommend DVine for both the service and quality of the food. Great find...

Did not enjoy. The two non-Middle Eastern friends with me loved it but I had taken a few bites and didn't care to eat anymore. The guys working are super nice, but the quality of food was not there for me. Not sure if I would even call this Mediterranean food? Reminded me of super oily, greasy street food you can get in a super dodgy area in the ME. Paid $20+ dollars and ended up leaving my leftovers in the desert for an animal to eat (no kidding). This slop food should have been $10, at most. My stomach hurt afterward and into the next day. Again, my non-Middle Eastern friends loved it, but this ME girl who has been exposed to fresh, quality Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food did not (looks like the same sentiment was noted by another ME person in a review, months prior). Also they need better ventilation inside the place. We were there talking until closing and they kept burning food. The burnt food smell lingered and lingered and was making me feel so sick. Perhaps a better ventilation system? Also, looking at the pics, people who posted reviews received their food beautifully laid out on plates. Are these pics to the same place?? Even though we got there at 6 pm, and said we were dining there, they still put the slop in to-go containers. Our food looked nothing like the pics here on yelp. Again,...

First time here and was super impressed. I wanted a spot close to where I was dropping stuff off at the post office and came across D'vine. I love Mediterranean food so I've had a lot but this is definitely one of my favorites in the area.

Firstly, the place was very clean, it's new but kept up well, and we were greeted right away by Yara and Steve. Very friendly and it was nice they took the time to remember our names when we left.

I ordered the Hummus with Chicken Swarma. It can with rice and and one side - I tried the beet salad. The beets were excellent, nicely cooked and not overly dressed by any means. The hummus was fantastic and the chicken was very flavorful and not dry at all like I've had at many other places. The rice was SO GOOD - I'm not even a rice person, really a filler for me but this is an excellent taste of its own. I would say it's a great value and excellent quality. I had enough left over for another meal as well. All in all everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I'd definitely recommend. They have other...

I recently returned to @dvinelb located in the Los Altos area of Long Beach for lunch. They were a fast-casual Mediterranean spot that’s now transitioning into being more of a dine-in experience. I got the chance to try several items including the lamb chops, batata harra, hummus, baklava, and more! It was delicious across the board—I’m a particular fan of garlic sauce and went to town on the combo of lamb + sauce. Next time you’re near the Eastern border of Long Beach, be sure to swing by for a meal that’s D’Vine.

The best D’Vine location!! (I have been to three others). So cutely decorated, easy to still order take-out at the counter like the other locations but the sit down area and table set-ups makes this location feel more like a leisurely dine-in place, rather than just a quick spot to grab take out food. The owner/manager was soooo attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. I love their hummus (we got the chicken shawarma with hummus as a starter, pine nuts on top, excellent!)…my salmon was a big portion, perfectly cooked. I love how their entrees come with rice, pita AND a choice of two sides (several options to choose from). We were given rice pudding and falafel on the house, both amazing! The falafel is soft yet just the right amount of crispy on the outside, seasoned perfectly. The rice pudding was delicious. Eager to go back the next time we are in Long Beach area!
