El Taco Loco # 2 — Restaurant in Long Beach

My go to place for a quick bite the food is good most of the time sometimes i feel they use oldish food i could be wrong but i get that feeling sometimes. theres little parking and not to many seats but if you could catch a seat im sure youd like it The staff is nice Yes they accept cards u can sit and eat or you can get take out. Food ranges from sea food to mexican food(menudo sold everyday and its good)(including tripa most restaurants dont sell tripa) kids food such as nuggets quesadillas burgers fries etc. All for a reasonable price with good portions.no beer sold here. After reading some good reviews about this place I went in there with sort of high expectations and it was a total disappointment. The staff were great by the way and very nice people but the food was anything but good. I was excited for the handmade tortillas, but after I saw they just took them out of a plastic bag and started re-heating them on the stove that already proved to me that the food was not fresh. The carne asada and birria were stiff and it left me unsatisfied. I don't think I would ever go back to this...

Not sure what happened here but quality of the food here has gone down. The rice from one of the combo plates tasted dirty. Like the pan wasn’t washed properly. The birria consume was a small bowl with little meat and mostly bones. It’s about 15 dollars for most of the combo plates and if you pay with debit you get charged a fee. rolls eyes the outside has been remodeled but the quality of the food wasn’t included in that. Won’t be coming back which sucks cuz we originally...
