Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Long Beach

I'm beyond disappointed with the service my daughter and I received at this particular Jack in the Box. We were on our way to school and she really wanted to grab something to put on her stomach. We went through drive through and it took roughly about 10 minutes to get to the window. Once there a young lady asked me if I had a #10, I replied I did not and had to repeat our order. She then replied to pull up and wait because they're timed on how long cars sit at the window. I hate that fastfood restaurants do this because it defeats the purpose. I declined I expressed my frustration, I had to wait behind the cars in front of us and my time is valuable too. They should be timed because the food wasn't ready. We weren't greeted when we pulled up, there was no apology for the wait or inconvenience, just a price and can you pull up and someone will bring your food out so no, I declined. I said why are you guys going so slow. The young lady at the window repeated what I said to another young lady in a different colored shirt so I assumed she was a manager and she called her Daisy. That person then yelled it at the people in the back. The first young lady scrambles to put our order in a bag then rushes it to me. As my daughter checks her order I request napkins and condiments. My daughter food was incorrect so I hunk my horn to gain someones attention to return to the window. I don't know if they were just having a bad day or if they were upset with me because I refused to pull up and wait but thank goodness I didn't because at this point it was around 15-17 minutes and would've been even longer if I wasn't at the window. The young lady opens the window and replied you're still here? I said yes, we asked for no mayo and they put mayo. The one who looked liked a manager snatched the bag from the young lady who originally took our order and stormed off to the back. At this point I don't trust it, I said just give me a refund and handed the young lady who took my order my cc so she could return my funds. She yelled to the back she wants a refund now and the one who looked like a manger said why do you want a refund, I replied because at this point I don't trust you and I will take my money somewhere else. She snared at me and said why are we playing games?! Then she snatched my cc from the young lady and said take your card. I said no I want my money back, she then open the register and took cash out. When she handed me the cash I said your name is Daisy right? You're a manager? She said it's Maria then closed the window on me. I waited a bit because she kept my receipt. I was so upset and angry by the time I pulled out, mostly I felt horrible for my daughter. We wasted all that time and still she was hungry. We ended up going to McDonald's if you check my reviews you'll see how good God is because we had an amazing experience there, the complete opposite of this place. It's unfortunate because my kids love Jack in the Box and this particular one is closest to their school but I will not be returning to give them anymore of our business and I don't recommend anyone else does either. I hope the staff there has better days and maybe find different professions they actually enjoy doing because I have a hard time believing serving customers is it and in this instance...

Am not sure where in the world I stated I had a great time because I didn’t idk why jack would reply that to my comment I have no issue with customer service the staff are friendly and welcoming they can be busy at times so it seems their short on staff and I give it to those who have to step up and be 3 places at the same time trying to get things done am a regular customer and just recently I had a inconvenience hear I don’t blame the staff I feel like the managers who are in their office not on site or whoever own this jack put their workers for failure I always order on the app and pick up my order and so it seems their has been fraud going on now you are required to show id on orders over 44 dollars which it would be nice if they had notify on the app before purchase because when I got their to pick up i was told they had to cancel my order redo it and so forth which was very inconvenient am unable to jot down the full story but yes have a Sign or something you know but like I said I don’t blame the people who work hear and bust their self working hard I blame those who sit pretty behind their desk with higher positions who don’t have to deal with customers who can be rude and to top it off I haven’t even got a refund and this was Sunday and my bank is already processed the transaction...

I had a very disappointing experience at this Jack in the Box location. While the person who took my order at the drive-through speaker was polite, the experience at the window was unacceptable. The employee who handed me my food did so carelessly—she tossed the bag out the window without making sure I had a grip on it.

When I asked for condiments, she threw a few random items into the bag and walked away before I could clarify what I actually needed. I waited at the window until another employee came back, and I calmly explained that I needed one ranch and two ketchups. Instead of helping directly, she went to ask the original (older Hispanic woman with white hair) for permission to give me the condiments.

The original employee never came to the window herself. She yelled from a distance, asking what I needed, and then handed the items to the other employee, who passed them to me—only for the window to be slammed shut in my face immediately afterward.

After that, I completely lost my appetite. The disrespect and lack of basic courtesy were astonishing. I won’t be returning to this location and I certainly wouldn’t recommend...
