Los Kuinitos — Restaurant in Long Beach

I drove 20 mins to buy carnitas and when I got home I realized they game me a bunch of dried up meat. I made 1 taco and it was hard to eat so I called them and told them I ordered 25 dollars worth of meat and it was super dry and I also ordered 2 dozen of tortillas just for them to heat them up by twos and when I got home they were all sweaty, hard and stuck together. They took down my name told me to go back and they’d give me my money back. I didn’t go that day because I was upset and very sick so I went 2 days later when I felt better. They argued with me for a while before telling me that they’d give me my money back but I would be banned from the restaurant. I got my money and left but I’m very disappointed as I have been going to this restaurant for YEARS. I mean literally like 10-15 years, I’ve moved all over Long Beach and when I want carnitas I always made the drive here no matter what because it was my favorite. Very disappointed...

I'm disappointed. I hace referred so many people here and now Im almost sure I will not drive from downtown long beach to kuinitos again. I ordered tacos to eat there while I wait. Carnitas, buche & chicharron to go. So I saw tacos sitting there for a while. Never would've thought they were mine. After waiting for over 30 minutes while they were serving relatives and ignoring paying customers. They handed me a bag. So I said where are the tacos I ordered for here? They were so distracted they hadn't even paid attention to my order. So the guy apologizes and takes the bag back then he gave me the same tacos that had been sitting there! They were cold and the tortilla was soggy and hadn't even been cooked thoroughly cause it was breaking! I was so upset and starving that I broke them apart saved whatever tortillas I could save and ate around it and left. So disappointed. This place tastes good, the carnitas and chicharrones and salsa but there is horrible hygiene, the cashiers grab the cash and go back to cooking today, January 8, 2024. This happened to me, my stomach turned when I saw it, then the cosineeo was at his lunch eating He came back from there to prepare my tacos, he didn't wash his hands and he also let the gas out of his mouth over my tacos. It made me feel horrible and I don't think I'll come back again. I hope that someone who comes here in the future will see how well they serve.
