While waiting in line there was only 1 car in front of me. When they pulled forward I faintly heard a voice but could not discern what was said so I placed my order which was only an iced coffee. All of a sudden a loud scornful "can you wait a minute" came through the microphone so I waited...and waited then when nobody came back to take my order I pulled up to the drive thru window. There a young lady asked me if my order was the fries of which I said no and asked to speak with the manager. I asked why nobody was available to take my order and saw a group of workers in the background standing around. They called whom I thought was the lead but she wore the same kind of shirt as the other workers and managers wear different tops. This person seemed upset that I was asking what was going on with her drive thru because once I asked her she was defensive and short with me. Managers are there to ensure a positive customer experience and their store operates smoothly. What I was met with was attitude. At that point I wasn't having anymore of their nonsense or attitude so I requested the phone number to their corporate office. The young lady grudgingly walked away and while she walked away a thin African-American young lady kindly asked me if she could take my order. She was the sweetest and had no attitude...she was trying to make right what was wrong and I sincerely appreciated her effort but I kindly told her no that this store lost my business because of management's attitude. Eventually the supposed manager/lead came back and handed me a piece of paper with a woman's name, no store number and no corporate phone number! WhenI asked her for the store number she started barking out to me so I handed the piece of paper back to her and asked her to write it down. She grudgingly did and handed it back to me and saw that other employees standing around her seemed to be laughing at the situation...like I was the butt of their joke! This time I trusted she did the right thing and wrote the corporate phone number down, manager in charge name and store number and drove away. As I drove a block away I noticed she didn't write the corporate office phone number so I called the store number she wrote. The person who answered said her name was Maria and I asked her if her lead informed her about our drive thru incident. Instead of answering my question she deflected and asked how she could help me. When I asked her again she said nobody told her and when I asked her why her staff was hiding it from her I was hung up on! When I called back and asked what happened a different voice answered the phone saying she was the manager and I could tell it was a different person. When I asked "what was the last question I asked you" she deflected and asked how she could help me. She couldn't answer it and I knew at this point it was a game for them. I don't appreciate being undermined nor being made fun of for a legitimate complaint especially when I buy coffee daily at McDonald's EVERYDAY! I've been to many McDonald's and it is disheartening that my neighborhood McDonald's has this attitude towards its customers. Perhaps the owner and or corporate office needs to reevaluate which employees they trust to run their store. Having worked in a high volume corporate environment for 30 years I understand the great expense involved in acquiring or retaining new or existing customers. Today I just wanted an iced coffee and what was delivered was an arrogant attitude, evasiveness in ownership and deflecting resolution. These are not qualities expected from any level of management including those who pretend to be in charge. Trust McDonald's takes corrective action IMMEDIATELY for your business's sake. Thank you young lady who was the only one in the drive thru who didn't have an attitude and tried to make things right. McDonald's she's the keeper...the others only hurt your brand name and...

Read moreI was asked by cashier if I mind paying for everything al'acarte, because she doesn't know how to make my sausage egg and cheese biscuit a combo. I'm like no get a manager. Mind you (the manager)was the same lady I had to wave down to help take my order when I came in and was waiting for a few minutes to be recognized. The manager told me to wait while she continued to have her conversation with the cook about her weekend plans. Then when I get my order it was wrong, so I ask for them to remake it, but instead they just put a cold piece of cheese on there and gave it back to me. I handed the sandwich back and ask can you melt the cheese please and put extra ice in my orange juice like I requested before. There was another manager that had just came in that helped me instead. I'm beginning to think you can't get any good service at McDonald's anymore. I came from leaving the Long Beach and Alantic location hoping I could get better customer service, but that was not the case. I keep giving this location chance after chance because it's so close, but my husband and I are officially done here! Please understand if people pay with their hard earned money for food, they should get what they order. I think the issue can be with the cooks not understanding customer orders too! This order was a bad example because it was entered in wrong this time....BUT, there's been several times where my order is entered in correctly, but the cooks mess the order up and the cashier hears the brunt of it when it should be the cooks because there not reading the notes. Plus every time I come here I continue to see only the African American workers clean up, take the trash out, stock, while the other employees take orders and talk amongst each other so racially there's...
