Miller's Luncheonette — Restaurant in Long Branch

Miller's is an old diner, which is the only reason I am not giving it a five star rating. The people who work at this diner work hard to keep up with the constant flow of people who flock here for truly the "BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK"! The more expensive diners serve the same egg's and potatoes. This owner is not gouging it's customers to pay for their luxury cars. I don't think I can find anywhere else that serves an extensive menu as reasonably priced as Miller's. I think the staff has not changed much from the day I accidentally discovered this tucked away diner. I love this place, especially since I have four kids. I am able to enjoy my meal and relax knowing my kids aren't going to break the bank with whatever they decide to order. This is the only place where I will purchase a Ribeye steak (8 ounces) with my breakfast and get two eggs, toast and home fries for just under $10. You can get three options just on the steak size (6oz, 8oz and a 10oz). The more I think about it the more I admire this place. Went in for a sister date, was not greeted until i asked for a server, which still took a good 5-10 minutes until she arrived, she took our order and then left us alone, we waited for 30 minutes no food came out, and no one let us know why. A table that sat down after was was attended before us and finished before we even went half way down with drinks, since we felt we were getting ignored i asked the guy at the front for the check on the drinks, he did NOT let us leave until we paid for the food and was even being rude that we did not want to wait for more time. still asked that we pay full price and we arrived home and this is what we got… this is super disappointing because i do enjoy the food but this experience has made not want to go...

Dont come here with a group of people with intentions to pay separately because the older white lady will be nasty towards you and refuse to split the bill and by split the bill i mean draw a line. Last time i came here in a group of 4 and asked to be on separate bills before even ordering to be met with “im not splitting the bill you guys seriously cant figure this out?” We told her she being rude just for her to say shes not and continue to be rude and dismissive towards us so we got up and left.
