Amazin Glaze Donuts — Restaurant in Longmont

I don't know when the new owners came in, but I do know that this place makes amazing donuts, ESPECIALLY the maple and strawberry glaze. I'm talking I'd buy a maple bar donut here over a maple donut at voodoo. The maple old fashioned one is the bomb. The new owners came in, looked around and thought, "How can we make this place awesome?" I can tell they are on the right track. The interior looks better than ever (the walls are painted a cool pink color with donut frosting accents), they already have a fancy loyalty program in place, and the owners are there giving you personalized attention and making sure you get treated right. In a world full of customer service interactions with people who clearly don't care, this place is a refreshing mom and pop shop where you get the feeling they'll remember you if you become a regular, which is what I intend to do. I went on Monday to get some donuts and there were some complications at the donut shop. Needless to say we didn't get the donuts we expected. I called the owner the next day and kind of made a soft complaint and he said come in on Wednesday and I will honor your purchase. When I got there on Wednesday my order was all ready for me and it was in a box properly wrapped and very fresh. They were very nice looking and very tasty for our women's Temple group. I appreciate the owner for going above and beyond the Call of Duty and having everything ready and the donuts were 5 plus. I made a Too Good To Go order, paid $10 for a LARGE surprise bag of leftovers that was supposed to be a $30 retail value, and got 10 donuts. 5 of which are mini cake donuts, and one is a long John jelly donut which wasn’t filled evenly, it was just two giant pockets of jelly on either side. The yeast donuts are oddly not sweet ? They taste like bread with chocolate glaze on top ? Anyway, taste aside, I got completely ripped off. I called the store and asked how much a dozen of fresh donuts would cost and they said $22.22. I didn’t even get a dozen LOL.
