Love living down the street from the park, the grounds are well maintained, I love sitting on the steps by the waterfall bridge, and it’s always fun to watch and hear the baseball games going on. One of these days we will take advantage of the batting cages, although they do look like they need some love.
My only big complaint about this park is that there’s zero coverage from the sun at the playground, and when it’s 95° outside and you want to take your kid to play, it’s pretty brutal for everyone. I’ve sent feedback via email and by phone to the City of Longmont requesting that they consider adding this feature, but who knows if that’ll ever become an addition. Read moreI love how much space there is, and it is primarily grass or at least some greenery. I wish they had a water line to fill up the dog bowls. I hear rumor that it is irrigated to keep it more grassy, don't know why they wouldn't just put in a spigot for the pups. I lug a gallon water jug with me on my trips.
