I’ve been to Thai 303 4 or 5 times since it open. Each time has been lovely and surprisingly delicious. The owners are so friendly and kind. Food comes out very fast - like how did they do that fast. The crab rangoons are not like any I’ve ever had. The crispy shell is thinner than most and go down almost as quickly as they come out. There are 6 - so plan accordingly.
I judge a Thai place by their peanut sauce - and satay. The peanut sauce here is nice and thick but not too thick. There are crushed peanuts on top and the sauce has a hint of coconut.
Pad Thai - amazing Stir fry cashew - so good. It’s not huge so you could order that yourself or share with one person if sharing two entrees. I order zero spice so I can’t speak to the spice levels - only that if you want zero spice - you can get it.
Crying Tiger the beef is so tender and the sticky rice the perfect consistency.
Chicken Satay is my favorite dish - I’ve only ordered it once here. The peanut sauce was great - but the chicken was different than I’m used to. It wasn’t on skewers - but the chicken was a very large portion of cut pieces.
My husbands fave is Pineapple Fried Rice. Theirs comes with gorgeous plump shrimp and pineapple and isn’t too curry heavy. The rice is so fluffy and umami is off the charts.
Sorry this is so long. I really want you to try them so they do well. Atmosphere - it’s so clean and a little homey. There’s a tv near the kitchen that shows scenes of markets in Thailand - and cooking prep. Really fun to watch. Okay - I’ll stop now....
Read moreIt's way too early to call this the best Thai Restaurant in Longmont, but last night's meal was the best Thai food I've had in years.
Here is my take on the dishes we ordered:
Pad Thai: Delicious! Best I've had in Longmont. I ordered it with 2 stars of spiciness and it had just a tiny bit of heat.
Panang Curry: Really good, but I felt like it was lacking a little "punch" of sweetness, sourness, or spiciness. (That said, I'm eating leftovers as I write this and it's tasting even better than last night!)
Thai Basil Pork (Stir Fry): I was hoping for Pad Kra Pao and this was similar. Ordered it with 3 stars of spiciness and by the end of the meal my mouth was burning a little. (Perfect!!)
Crying Tiger: My wife ordered this. She really liked it but felt it was a tiny bit sweet. I thought it was delicious and the sweet chili sauce gave it a crisp freshness.
Pad See Ew: Very good. Those thick noodles are so luxurious and the flavors of the sauce and other spices were really good.
My wife also enjoyed her egg rolls and sticky rice dessert. We will...
Read moreWhile waiting in traffic, out of the corner of my eye, I saw 'Thai 303' restaurant in this old and boring strip mall that I had never paid any attention to before. A few hours later, I felt I should give this place a try (and maybe take one for the team). Boy, was I impressed with the food here!!
We ordered Pad Thai. It was so tasty that I was in love with this place after the first bite! All ingredients were fresh and they were quite generous with the meat. I recommend getting some fish sauce on the side to enhance the tase. It was like our quest for the perfect Pad Thai was finally over! The few places in town that serve this dish put too much sugar, not enough meat and packed with fillers like bean sprouts. However, the Pad Thai here was just right any very authentic Thai! The service was friendly, fast and welcoming! The restaurant was very clean and neat and had a modern and Thai fusion theme. This is now a place to revisit in my book! BTW, the waitress told me that they've only been open about five months. I highly...
