Buster’s Fried Chicken and Funnel Cakes — Restaurant in Longview

LOOK👀 I'm about to let you in on a little secret. Maybe it isn't a secret. But this is one of the best food places in town. I've eaten all over the USA and even in Africa and Buster's is BUSSIN BABY. I had a pork chop sandwich (also where are you getting a real bona fide homemade pork chop sandwich from in 2025?🤔) But it was not only delicious, it was STACKED. I GOT A cup of hot sauce (mandatory) and some ranch? And some pickles and peppers. Look, don't tell my momma but they might have her beat on the pork chop game😩. But also I had a strawberry cheesecake/funnel cake? Please forgive me if I don't remember the exact name, but the real name is DELICIOUS. But, the main reason I hit them up was for the BLUE AND RED KOOL-AID. Don't act up, you know the flavor is THE COLOR. But in all seriousness, whoever the lady is working the phones and providing A-1 customer service is--keep it up! Thanks for making my order process simple and on point! But last and DEFINITELY not least, hats off to the chef who TOOK THAT 🗣️PORK CHOP DOWN AND THROUGH THERE!! AND SOME LIGHT BREAD? I’m wondering if all these reviews are from friends and family . Because when I read them and ate here I found a different description on the food . I would not describe it as the best chicken in Longview in fact I would describe it as the opposite . I ate their food wondering if people of Longview don’t have tastebuds or shin maybe family and friends ? If this is all you have to offer as longviews best fried chicken I would suggest leaving Longview and brooding your horizons your so missing out . The gravy given with potatoes was a burnt brown gravy if I were to guess it was instant and forgotten about as it was burning in the stove . Sadly nothing I ate ( ordered three different meals ) screamed comfort songs . In fact I felt bad for this city that it lacked true cooking talents in many of their establishments titled under food . Though I don’t like KFC and it taste like cardboard I would suggest it over this place . But seriously can’t say anything good about...

Stopped in and tried the wingettes 6 piece. Half Lemon Peoper/ Hot Cheeto flavored on the remaining 3. Came with a side and I also purchased a strawberry funnel cake. I was not a fan of the wings, one star for the hot Cheetos flavoring and tho looked good, I couldn’t bring myself to eat it because the drum itself was big and the coating made it seem even bigger so I passed on that. Lemon pepper kind of the same and bland and didn’t meet my expectations. Small funnel cake was as expected. It was my 1st visit and I wasn’t pleased with any of the food portion. A small Kool-aide, a water while waiting 4 food would’ve been a nice gesture and would’ve tipped much more. I wouldn’t have an issue with service being anything other end. The front cashier was super friendly and beautiful 😏 the gentleman was trying to control the front end, lobby, and the kitchen. He was friendly but sometimes just watched from afar.
