We visited at 10 AM on a Saturday.
Lots of microbrewery beers and local wines available. They did not currently have their liquor license, so no tequila.
Cool atmosphere outside with a place for kids to play. The train rolled past twice while we were there. They didn't blow the train horn, but the rumble was still loud enough to prevent any conversation.
We got chips and queso as an appetizer, and the cheese was melted cheddar and a grilled jalapeño in the center of the cheese. The chips were mostly broken pieces, so I guess that was the bottom of the bag.
The woman in our group got some lamb taquitos. They didn't taste special to me, but she really liked them.
I got a burger with pineapple and jalapeños. That was awesome 👌. It came with a side of homemade potato chips, which were fine but I think someone left the Tony's seasoning on POUR instead of SPRINKLE. I had too much seasoning on the chips.
I bet this place would be a great night spot...
Read moreGreenside Beverage Company in Longview is one of those hidden gems you’re excited to stumble upon. I only found out about it a few weeks ago when we had a small birthday party for my niece, and I was really impressed. The outdoor area is a cool spot to hang out, and the indoor area has a chill vibe with a relaxed atmosphere. The drinks were on point, and the staff was super knowledgeable and helpful. It’s the kind of place where you can come to relax with friends, or just grab a drink and read a book. We’ll definitely be going back. It also had a great community feel—when we got there, some local farmers were selling watermelons and fresh produce, which added to the...
Read moreThis place is a gem in Longview. It's a great place to go to have a couple of craft beers or glasses of wine. Inside is a classy-casual atmosphere. Outside is a spacious patio area where you may find live music on the weekend. If you love trains, you're in luck, as the railroad tracks are literally a few feet away and trains run through occasionally. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. I don't usually order any food here; their offering is only a limited selection of snack-type food (but fancy, if that makes sense). They do allow you to bring in food if purchased from a local downtown business (Cace's, Roma's, etc.). Highly recommend giving this...
