5 out of 5 stars for Roma's!! My wife and I, along with our 2 daughters, went out to eat there about a week ago. You know... just a casual dinner and a walk out in Longview's downtown. We chose Roma's after attending Wild Honey's 1 year anniversary (a homemade ice cream parlor a few doors down, on the week before) when the owner and her husband recommended it to us. Anyhow, upon walking in we were greeted very kindly and sat immediately. Bread was brought out along with it's delicious dipping oils. Very delicious! I am a major bread lover, so they got me there. Lol! I fell in love. Once browsing through the menu, I seen so many things I wanted to try. Obviously, I ordered a few appetizers and they too were delicious. People... I am not saying this just to say it, but you know I'm a real foodie... not to mention Italian food is my absolute, hands down favorite... so I'm a big time critic if it isn't done right. Rocky, one of the 2 owners, came tableside and introduced himself and Adrian (the other owner). They conversed with us and interacted with my daughters as well. I guess my 3 yr old, Rome, caught their attention from the moment we arrived, because they were giving her whatever she desired (cakes! And not just one...Lol!). She usually will share with us while eating because she doesn't eat much at one sitting, however, when asked by Rocky what she wanted to eat, she said pizza. He made her a pizza all to herself exactly how she wanted it. These guys are amazing. The staff was very attentive, very timely and very kind. A beautiful establishment with a nice Italian Summer's night vibe is what we experienced while there. Imagine being in Italy at night by the water, eating your favorite Italian dish with music in the background, lost in thought, but stress free.... That is the moment we had... and I am definitely going back for more of those moments! Like soon... this weekend. The food was amazing! If you're ever in Longview, make sure to come check them out... you will not regret it. I promise you that. *I've attached 2 photos taken by my daughter on her phone (accidentally left my phone charging at home and so couldn't get all the great pictures I normally do. Will do it next time for sure).

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. We reserved a table for six and decided we would order some appetizers, since two members of our party had not arrived yet. They brought out some bread baskets while we looked at our menus. Gosh, the bread. As soon as I tasted it, I knew that I would probably be full before the food was even ready. The basket came with a three or four rolls, brushed with garlic and fresh out of the oven. They also came with a plate of seasoned oil to dip them in. They were delicious. I'm probably going dream about those rolls. Though the bread was amazing, the service there was just as good. From the moment we sat down, our server Eric was incredibly friendly. He was cracking jokes, telling stories, and overall making sure we were having a good time. We ordered a plate of fried mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, and continued to chat among ourselves and with Eric. At this point, it seemed like our two other party members weren't going to show up, so we decided to do ahead and order our food. I ordered the Chicken Primavera plate, which came with mushrooms, olives, and red bell pepper in a cream sauce. Sadly, I didn't get a picture of my plate, but know that it was pretty good. Throughout our stay, Eric continued to be great company, giving suggestions on food, and trading in lighthearted teasing and banter. His presence definitely made the experience twice as enjoyable. It was overall a wonderful experience. I am sure to be returning here in the future. tldr: The food itself was pretty good, but the amazing service and rolls made sure that this place will forever hold a place in my heart.

Worst experience with the owner, never deal with the anyone this rude owning a business myself if this how you talk to your customer might as well shut this place down!. Adrian you need to learn how to speak with customer, just because I don’t dress up coming to pick up the foods doesn’t mean you have to look at me different the way you spoke to me and look at me is disgusted! I did call and told the manager the food (shrimp scampi was too sour) yall did have it remake went to pick it up I try it again it’s too sour this first time I had shrimp scampi in your place you went grab the fork stare at me then try the sauce , then you start running your mouth how I’m wasting your foods this n that… if your chef made the sauce like that and it suppose to be sour like that then let me know over the phone when I call in I wouldn’t mind get something else. Your mad because customer complaint about your foods is too sour ? I had shrimp scampi before never taste this awful the shrimp was over cook sauce too sour!! Never again!! I bet if I would of dress up you would of spoke to me different huh? Not to mention All the food you pack for me was all spilled soaking wet in the plastic bag . -1

Update to your response (The owner) lmao how you sound so professional in here got me rolling 😂 but okay…..You did ask if I want something else and I of course said No !! I want a refund and that’s after the nasty attitude and the way you spoke to me like I’m some kid…n how I’m wasting your food and you call me out that I doesn’t know what lemony and sour taste like . My shop is near by I would think to support local and the neighbor around our block would be something great but what a disappointment to your establishment!. Treating people with respect doesn’t cost you anything “my advise to you is learn how to speak respectfully to your customers they’re are the consumer without them there is No you”. to the customers becareful ordering this dish nasty/sour (not lemony sauce) ! I had better food at Olive Garden and better service also manager know how to respectfully treat...

I had high hopes as this establishment was given high praise by many I know. However, I can't even begin to explain how bad the food was. I ordered a Mozzarella Caprese salad as an appetizer... the tomatoes were NOT fresh and the mozzarella had a very bitter aftertaste (and the menu should really entail what all comes with this, but it does not. There are added roasted bell pepper and olives which is usually not included in a classic Caprese). I then ordered the Chicken Marsala, hoping for redemption....... as I was let down yet again. The Mushrooms and sauce were horrendously salty and the Chicken was far too bland; almost to the point it could have imitated the noodles it sat upon. But what appalled me more than anything was sisters dish. Don't remember the name, but it was the Black noodle Seafood pasta. It was tolerable......... aside from the Imitation crab. I'm sorry, but what professional, proper restaurant adds bland, fake crab to a dish that also stars mussels, clams, and shrimp?! As someone whose had food from all over the world, fake crab undermines ANY dish in a professional restaurant (the only time I look past this is at sushi restaurants). If crab meat isn't an option, omit the crab! The dish would have been very good without it. Sister had also ordered the Roma-Rita - she loved it the first time. The second time, it seemed she got a different drink; different taste and different color. We thought it was a mix up and sent it back... but she got the same, wrong drink and even stronger than before. I will say, more were happy with their meals than I was. However, I will not be returning any time soon.

I will add though (because I promise I'm not a snooty, picky person as this post may make me out to be) our waiter was amazing!! He apologized for the drink mix up (as sister didn't bother telling him about the wrong drink the second time) and he was very attentive to our table throughout our meal. Always had a smile as he was very friendly and spoke clearly. And the bread was good too.

Wish I could have left a...
